Plans fail for lack of planing

Posted in T-Tapp Workout
So it's been a few days since I blogged anything about T-Tapp . . . I've been busy! I feel more busy now than when we were doing school.   Not that we're running all over...those of you that know me know I DO NOT like to run here, there, and everywhere.   We just haven't found our summer nitch yet - hopefully this week.    Commercial over - back to TTapp . . .

I actually find it mentally harder to do TWO every other day than BWO+ plus other moves every day. I think it's a mental thing that TWO takes an hour and BWO+ plus other moves takes (in my mind) 15 minutes, although in reality it takes about 45 minutes. It's mental thing, I know.   Please pray that I find my niche on my "off days" (which you can actually do 20 minutes of TTapp on "off days" and not overdo).

Sorry - no tip of the day except be sure you're getting enough sleep...like I need now!

Jun. 5, 2007 - Finding a routine...

Posted by kimberly
First, I just wanted to say how excited I was to see how many of you did the full 14 day bootcamp--I am so proud of you guys. It took all the effort that I had to make it my 5 days.
We started back to school today, and for me this is the time that is hardest for me to get my exercise. It seems that especially this time of year, that we are constantly running--and I also require my "leisure" time. I did work for about an hour in the garden and then took the kids for a nature walk this afternoon. I didn't want to, but I made time and got on the elliptical for 40 minutes while the kids played. All I really wanted to do was vegetate, but I need to make this a part of my life, no matter how inconvenient, or hot, or whatever...
I have made out a schedule of what exercise I will do on what day--I plan on doing cardio 2 days a week and ttapp once with another ttapp or weight training day depending upon if I can make it to the gym. I think that this is realistic and something that I can stick with.
I know that as women we tend to put everyone else first, but we need to see the long-term benefits that taking this time for ourselves will bring us. I don't want to be 60 and too weak to pick up my grandchildren (already dreaming)...or in my 80s and debilitated. I want to remain strong and vital, and to be able to care for my family and to be able to give them my best and not have it limited due to lack of exercise.
Sorry for the ramble...I also could use some extra sleep!!
Take care--
