Another Late Entry

I have decided that summertime is just too busy for me to keep up with the blogosphere. We spend lots of time outside and at the pool these days. An I can honestly say that I am thouroughly enjoying it!

I will be ordering Core 1 for DD6 this weekend! YAY!

We have also decided to make the move toward homesteading. We have some financial goals to meet first, but are doing so with that goal in mind.

Hopefully when school picks up I can be a little more disciplined with the blog?

Summer certainly is a time for outdoors, except we live in Texas! Most of our outdoor time is in spring and fall.

We enjoy Sonlight. We have done Cores K-6, and this year are doing Core 5.

And we are on the homesteading adventure ourselves. It has always been a dream of mine, and I got my dh on board about 10 years ago. We purschased property over 5 years ago, and have lived here now for 3 years. Things are coming together. We are learning alot, and spending more time on projects as a family. It is a lot of work, but a fun way to spend life together.
