A Unit Study on Elephants
Elephants are intriguing animals. Their size leaves you awestruck; their strength is amazing, and they are very intelligent and affectionate beings. Amazingly, even with their large size, they can walk by silently - you won't even know they're passing by.
Learn more about elephants, also known as gentle or peaceful giants, in this 5 lesson elephant unit study. At the end of the 5 lessons, you'll have a better understanding of elephants. Each lesson begins with a selection of literature about elephants and a lesson on a different aspect of the life of an elephant. Each lesson will have elephant crafts, an elephant recipe, elephant coloring pages, activity pages and games. Keep your work in a notebook and decorate the cover to match the theme.
You can access the lessons by clicking on the links below, or sign up for the free All About Elephants Ecourse and receive a lesson in your inbox every week.
- Lesson 1 - What is an Elephant?
- Lesson 2 - The Elephant Family
- Lesson 3 - Elephant Babies
- Lesson 4 - Elephant Diet
- Lesson 5 - Elephant Habitats and Competition
