Well hello again...This is my second entry...And this is my Salt Crystal Science Project {Picture Below}...This is how you make Salt Crystals...In order to make Salt Cyrstals, you will need a small sauce,1 cup of water,1/3 cup of table salt or more, a drinking glass {USE GLASS NOT PLASTIC}, a long pencil, and a piece of cotton string...Pour the water into the sauce pan and bring it to a boil...After the water has started to boil, turn off the heat and remove the pan from the burner...Add the salt and stir until the salt is dissolved...Continue to had salt until no more salt will dissolve...Allow to cool, then pour it into the glass...Be sure to pour only the solution into the glass and leave in the salt in that did not dissolve in the pan...Tie one end of the string to the pencil and the drop the other end of the string into the solution ...Rest the pencil across the rim of the glass ...Place the glass in a cool area where it will not get disturbed...Be sure that you do not move it or lift the string from the glass for several days...Ckeck it daily to see if your crystals are growing...Well, that's how you make salt crystals...If you try it let me know!!! |
