Marley and Me - What a Blessing!!I just finished Marley and Me. I found it one of the best books I have ever read. I think the author, John Grogan, did a fantastic job in making me a part of his story. Having a yellow lab myself, I could certainly relate to many of the antics of Marley and the unconditional love of a Lab to its family. I feel blessed in just getting to read this book and recommend it to everyone, especially the pet lovers. However, it does deal with marital issues so it is best "screened" before letting any children read it. I shared many of the funny parts with my own kids but conveniently left off some of the things I didn't want to explain to my little ones.Great read!! |
