Ni hao
Hello there, its ME again.
Basicly I've just been working and studying. What am I working on? Well mostly just serving coffee and etc. Trying to keep on top of things at home has been dificult. Hmm I guess work has been dificult, really. Its not so much that I mind the work but being away from home so much is hard for me. Everything feels so different...like being in a foreign land that you have to pretend is your home. Sometimes I just wish I could wake up, but I know its not a dream. See, I like my job and actually enjoy it to some extent. It pays pretty good and I meet a lot of interesting people. Its just that...well I want to be a homemaker. I don't want to be a career women. I seriously keep thinking maybe I should just get married soon and then I could be home lol. That's another thing, I had a long-distance b/f for 6 months and broke up with him about a month ago. Why did we break up? A LOT of reasons. I feel so stupid and wise at the same time lol. The whole thing was SO confusing I don't even want to think about it...but I'm still confused. Oh well I guess that's all I'm going to go into today I think I'm just going to go laugh and cry and say wan shang hao, masa el khair and goooooooooooodnight.

Sep. 6, 2006 "The Baronet's Song"
| I'm reading a book called "The Baronet's Song" http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/087123291X?v=glance Its really good! I'm about half way through and I love it. Has anyone heard of it or read it? If not, I recommend it. It somewhat resembles the writings of C.S. Lewis and mentions him in the intro. It has a very powerful christian message to it, too. :) The series includes two books and the next is called "The Shepherds Castle" which is about some of the same charactors, I believe, but i haven't read it yet. |

| Yesterday I went rafting with my brothers and their friend. We didn't go real far but it was still fun :)
Today I got called in to work for 4 hours cause one of the girls that works there had a seizure. I've known her for a long time and she's had them before but not since january. I guess she's just kinda hard on herself sometimes and doesn't get enough sleep so that kinda triggered it. So, whoever reads this, please keep her in your prayers, if you would. She needs lots of it right now. Thanks so much!
Sorry this is short...I'll try to make it a bit longer next time. :)

| Well this past week has been an interesting one. Sunday before last I started training at my new job( a coffee shop called "Moxie Java") right after performing with my siblings at a church. So I was there(at work) from about 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Monday we usually sing at a couple nersing homes with friends, but that was canceled cause they were out of town...so that was pretty unusual. Then on tuesday I trained a bit in the morning with my sister which, mornings are the buisiest time. After I got home we went to boise, which is about 45 minutes away, to go shopping and pick my friend, Sarah, up at the airport. So we left at around 1:30 and shopped untill 6:00 or so, then we picked Sarah up and headed home. It was kinda awkward at first, seeing Sarah again, cause we hadn't seen eachother for almost a year and that was only for one day and before that it had been almost 4 years. But after we got home and stuff it was cool.
The first night we slept outside on the trampoline, which was colder than we had thought it would be but it was still fun. While she was here we rode our bikes to town a few times and sat at the park. Wednsday we mostly just hung around home and talked (guess we had a lot to talk about.) Then on Thursday I trained with Rebecca from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm and Sarah came too. Mornings are the busiest at coffee shops so I learned quite a bit and got some good practise.
Friday we hung around home and us girls had a "dress up party" where we all dressed victorian. Then Saturday was Anna's baby shower at Moxie Java (she's the manager there) so we went to that and I took over the counter for mary so I got a bit of practise working over there which was good cause I had only worked in Fruitland before(there's two stores that we all rotate between) and I was supposed to work that night at Ontario, which is where the shower was, so it was kinda fun and I learned some stuff.
That night Rebecca had to bake at Ontario so she took me to work. It was actually supposed to be my first night working "alone" but She was there so if I needed help that was nice. Ontario is a bit harder to clean than Fruitland (the stores) cause its bigger but it wasn't to bad. We got out of there about 45 minutes after we closed but I guess that's not bad for my first try.
After we got home a little after 12:00, we noticed Isaac wasn't home yet, so we waited for him to get home and then gave him a hard time for staying out so late (he was at his g/f's house and then we all sat around and talked for a while...it was kinda bad cause we were so tired we couldn't hardly go to bed! Or...at least that's how I was :P (goin on 7 hours of sleep and only 6 and 5 the nights before) and so finally we all headed for bed.
In the morning we all got up pretty early and went to church. It was cool cause they had some missionaries from South Africa there.
After church we sat around for a while trying to think of something to do. We had several idea's but the one we finally decided on was canoeing. SO that's what we did! It was so much fun! I want to do it again.
On monday we went to nersing homes and my friend had the idea to dress up old fashion for the old people...so we did! It was kinda funny but they liked it anyways.
So then on tuesday me and Martha went to take Sarah to the airport and said goodbye. Then we went shopping a bit and came home.
On Wednsday I just did a bunch of stuff around the house (cleaning etc.) oh, I cut my finger and fainted...that was kinda scary but I'm fine now. I didn't really think I would faint but I did.
Yesterday we had a really hard wind that came on really sudden. We didn't have much damage here but I guess over where my sister lives got it pretty bad. They said it was almost like a tornado.
So now...Today. I'm sitting here typing and have answered several phone calls and I've been up since 7:00. So I guess that pretty much wraps it up.

Oh dear...I haven't updated in SO long! I forgot to tell you about my livejournal I got(a while back...) but then I haven't updated that for a long time either. Oh well I feel like updating today (/night) so Here Goes! The weather has been rather hot and blistering lately but not unenjoyable since we have a swamp cooler that works half decently. Not to say it keeps cool all the time but as for me, I really don't mind the heat all that much so its not so bad(some of my family members might disagree) but anyways. So I had been wanting to get a nice tan sometime with all this nice sunshine ( ) but hadn't really been able to cause of housework and ect. things that prevented me from going outside...like, its not appealing to sit outside in 103 degree weather trying to get a tan...! But if you're doing something like swimming, then you can get a tan, have fun and keep cool. So the story goes: Me and my sister were feeling adventuresome on tuesday morning, so we decided to go on a bike ride...which ended up being a very LONG bikeride. We rode about 2 1/2 hours to our friends' house, who live about 10 or 11 miles away. Which is more than our previous escapades (8 miles) and that doesn't count going home. So it was quite the adventure. It wasn't that we were wore out, really, but the HEAT was a little much. We were glad we brang a insolated waterbottle with lots of ice cause we drank it ALL. On the way we got to go down a pretty fun hill(which I was considering walking my bike down before I saw it and remembered it wasn't THAT steep...lol and it was so much fun going down, too! I wouldn't have missed it -) but then there was a rather bumpy gravel rode we had to walk our bikes on and then a nasty hill we had to climb. But we did get to dunk our hats in a cannal and we made sure to take enough brakes for water...we actually got a couple pic's but I haven't looked at them yet. So after the climbing of the big and nasty ( :P) we got to ride it! I think there really is something smart about hills, see when you're climbing up it, you're working up all that swet and then on the way down you've got all that wind and it really cool's you off! its so much fun to ride them. Its definetly worth climbing em' :D. Thankfully, when we got there they were home...we didn't call beforehand so they might not have been there but they were so we refreshed ourselfs there and got wet with thier hose. I didn't get soaking like my sister did but I wished I had when we got down the road a bit. When we got to the top of the hill I called home on the cell to let everyone know where we were and how we were(they knew we had gone, but we had to check back anyways.) And it was a good thing we did cause mom (whom we sorta purposely didn't tell how far we were going :P ) was getting kinda worried. But I reasured her we were fine and keeping quite cool and had pleanty of energy(which me and my sis were questioning the truth of that later on) and soon we headed off again. We had a nice ride down that hill again and the gravel road didn't seem as hard but once we got to that other hill (the one that was SO much fun going down :P ) it was a little ruff. But not unbearable(sp?) so we trudged on. It was SO hot but when we went fast there was wind so it wasn't too bad. Now, before I go any further, let me remind all of you how ammature we are at bikeriding :P Ok.Yeah.< lol. So we stoped by some friends house but they weren't there so we just sat under one of their tree's and had a nice drink. It was then I realised how VERY sore I was and how VERY very sore I was going to be that night, (hehe!) and so on and so forth- we sang about water and home and everything else that sounded good untill, at last! We made it to the river. We practically droped our bikes and went as fast as we could (which was about like a slow walk ) through the brush to the river. As soon as we got in we were revived and ready to ride. So, on we went about 3 miles home. That last mile was the hardest part I think but it was still great fun. We got home at 3:10 and left at about 10:35 am. So about 4 1/2 hours. We sorta wished we'd gone a bit earlier though and if we do it again(which we prob will sometime) we'll prob leave earlier when its not so hot. But it was an adventure and adventures are supposed to be at least a little painful. So to wrap it all up, when I got home I looked like a slightly discolored lobster and felt like a redhot chili peper that had been chewed twice and spit back out....lol, okay maybe that's a little too graphic. I got a sunburn and was very sore. There, that's better. Dat's it for now. |

| First I'll fill you in on what I did yesterday then I'll tell about today.
Yesterday I went to my grandparents to have breakfast and help them pack(they left for CA today) and then my mom and I sorted a TON of shoes. We were trying to decide what to sell at the yard sale and what to keep (yes, we're planing a yard sale, soon.) So it was good to get that done. Now all there is is clothes and 'misc' to sort through(hmm.) I cleaned and tidied up a bit before my grandparents got here and then made dinner while everyone played "Mexican train" (dominos.) I talked to my two brothers about personality types for a while then I remembered I was going to try to go to bed earlier than before(1:30) but it was already amlost 12:00 by that time. So I just read a chapter in my bible and went to sleep. Oh! I forgot to tell, grandma gave me this little touch lamp(which, I have always wanted one) so it was easier to read by and stuff.
And today I woke up to my sister calling to see if I wanted to go yard saling' with her, Mom and Lois. She said I had 2 minutes to get ready so I quickly got dressed and fixed my hair as good as I could and rushed out the door.
It was fun. I bought a couple things and only spent 1.50...that's pretty good eh? :D So after that I went with my sister and friend to a MaryKay thing (fun!) that was fun except that all I had eaten was a bannana and my sugars were messed up cause I drank some coffee. I was shaking all over and almost had a panick attack but then after that we went to mongolian and I was fine :D The guy there was pretty cool he looked like he was having fun(showing off.) After that we went out to icecream at BaskenRobins and then went home. Ah, its good to be home :) |

| I think maybe I will start updating everyday or something...that might be better than me waiting forever and then trying to suv everything in there :P Well I guess my life has not been to busy. I need to go on a bike ride again soon...that was fun! I did go on a few and one that was almost as long as 8 miles but not for a few days...and its been really nice weather too! Oh well I guess I've been doing other things. I spent the night at my sisters the other night, that was fun. We watched a movie called "Orphan Train" it was an old one but I really liked it...I think I saw it when I was little or something but I didn't remember it. After nersing homes on monday we went out to icecream and then to the park to take pictures. We slid down the slides like little kids lol...it was funny. Today I cooked and cleaned in the kitchen and did some laundry. Then I watered my garden and flowers and came inside. I decided to bake a cake so without seeing what time it was I started it and it got done around 9:30...it tasted gooood though! :D I better say goodnight for now though and I will try to scrounge up some kind of update everyday ;) |

Apr. 24, 2006 Life is good
| Life is never perfect but sometimes its pretty dang good! :P
Lately I've been doing a lot of thinking and praying and reading my bible. I'm really wanting a closer walk with God so that's what I'm striving for.
Yeah...so I've been riding my bike quite a bit and I really enjoy it! Esp. if I have someone to ride with. I rode about 8 miles the other day and then I've been riding some everyday.
I am kinda sore today but not from riding bike. Yesterday was our Easter party (late) and so I played hard outside all day and got lots of confetti eggs smashed on my head...which gave me a slight headache today but it was worth it :P
I got quite dirty too cause we always play gun wars(fake guns-of course) and so i was crawling around in the dirt a lot...I actually got some pretty good shots :D
So that's why I'm sore today.
I guess I could tell you about my day today...it wasn't too exciting but not bad.
I got up around 9:00 and my grandparents were here but I didn't visit with them much. I played tennis with my bro for a bit and then took a shower and did some other stuff I don't remember. At around 4:00 my sister and came over so I played dolls with Bethany(my neice) and a bit of teather ball with my bro (though he always beats me) and then Some friends came by to pick me and a few of my siblings up to go sing at some nersing homes(we do it every week) so that's what I did untill about 9:00. I ate some icecream for dinner (don't worry, I rarely do that) and watered my garden and tried to beat my bro at teatherball again but I couldn't do it even when I cheated! lol.
So that's my day/week.

Apr. 13, 2006 Its a sunny day!
I guess I should update more often eh? Well here's an update for ya anyways.
Today is so nice! Its all sunny and pretty out. I planted a flower bed
and a garden the other day so I've been enjoying taking care of them. I
also planted some strawberries and I saw today that their starting to
bud. I treated them with proxide so maybe that helped. At Isaac's b-day
party we played several types of tag and, also, darebase. It was great
fun and lots of exersize! Some people said they liked my flowers, too .
I made doughnuts but they didn't turn out as good(I thought) as the
last ones I made casue I used wheat flower instead of white and they
didn't rise as much. I was kinda stressed out cause the night before
the party we had some people over for dinner that we didn't know but my
sister met them at her work...I guess it was good we had them over,
cause they are kinda poor and don't have any freinds, but it was kinda
tiring making all that food and then cleaning it up...actually that
wasn't so bad but after cleaning all day before the party and making
pizza and doughnuts, I was a little, but that soon passed when it was
time to play I had a blast!
That night was a little ruff, though. I stayed up till 6:00 am cause I
was scared of a stupid spider...its kinda funny now but I really
thought I saw two brow recluse spiders...in one day! And they could
have been but my bro told me spiders aren't out to get me and they only
bite if you scare them (or something to that affect) so I was fine and
I went to bed and slepttill about 11:00
then I remembered I was gonna go to sing with some friends at a couple
nersing homes(they do it every monday night and my brothers always go
and I just started going more often.) So I read some in a couple
books("Little House On The Prarie" and "The Holy Warrior"), then I
helped my mom clean out her car and watered my garden and stuff. At
4:30 the Bays came and picked us up(I almost got left behind cause I
didn't know they were here) and we headed off. It was a good time.
Yesterday I cleaned house for someone with my sister(got paid, too!)
and Today my older sister and her baby were here cause she hurt her
back and can't get around to good and her husband was at work.
I played with Bethany and went on a walk. Its very warm today! I'm hoping I will tan from being in the sun. Its very nice outside and I've been out there a lot. I guess that's all for now...hope its not toooo long! cyl!

The trip to California was really great! It was so nice to have so many of my family members there.
Grandma is doing pretty good at the assisted living place but I wish we
could be closer so we could visit her more. The place is a nice place
and she does have a lot of friends...but it would be so much better if
we could be there for her more. Everyone was saying we should take her
to live in ID with us but I don't know if that will happen or not.
Aside from that, here is a draft of the trip.
We left here at about 10:30 and had a rather nice trip to CA and arived
at around 7:30 (6:30 CA time) and went strait to grandma's place
to visit her. After visiting her we went home and unpacked. We were all
real hungry so Me, Anna and Dad went to town to find something to eat.
We had told everyone that we were going to get chinese food but ended
up going to winco and getting some misc food...it was good but not what
everyone expected ;)
The next day Anna, Rebecca and me went shopping but most of the stores
were closed untill 10:00 so we went to macy's then we went to grandma's
and sang for her and some old people.
We brang grandma to her old house(the one we were staying in) and
visited with her for a while. We took her to her place and she took a
nap then later me and Mary went to see her and say goodnight. She was
kinda worried about us being out "in the middle of the night" (it was
about 8:00) so we read her a psaml and assured her we were fine and we
would give her a call when we got home. As we were headed home we made
a couple wrong tunrs and almost went to portland! lol, it was pretty
funny I guess grandma was right to be worried ;)
That night I had a terrible headache and started having one of my
"spells" but I quickly layed down on the couch and it wasn't too bad.
It was kinda scary(like always) but I prayed and used a HC zapper and
was able to get to sleep and the next day I was fine.
On saturday I woke up, got a shower and got ready for my cousins
wedding reception. We got there around 1:00 and were greted by many
relatives. It was at a chinese resteront so we had some really awesome
food! And a TON of it, at that! lol. I ate sooo much...its a wonder I'm
not fat (yet) :D
After we ate everyone headed to the harpers(uncle John and aunt Mary)
for dessert and music. I was still feeling week from that episode the
night before and I didn't feel much like singing so I just listening
outside the door while my siblings sang. Some of the other peoples
music was a bit rocky and loud but it was mostly old rock songs so it
was ok...and there was also some chirstain songs which were nice :)
That night at home we discussed driving plans and etc. It was decided I
was to go home with Mary, Luke and Anna in the early morning in the
rental car and everyone else at 10:00 in the van. I slept kinda odd
that night(streched between two lazy chairs and switched a couple times
between the floor and that) so i felt sleepy half the way home. We did
get some coffee at "Dutch brothers" but I don't think it worked on
me(it usually doesn't) but it tasted good!
It was actually not a bad drive except the last 30 minutes I got kinda
anxious but occupied myself with some chewing gum...great fun! Hehe :P
When we pulled up to our house I was so happy to be home! Our house never looked so good ;)

Mar. 27, 2006 short Update
Today was nice. I got up and had
breakfast, did some painting with my sister outside and then had lunch
around 12:00. I vacumed the living room and then my bro told me about
something cool he heard you could do with rainbow vacumes(which is what
we have) so we both decided it was a good idea and he tryed it out. We
put a plastic bag over a couch cushon and put the vacume hose in it and
closed it up and turned it on and, what that does is, it takes all the
air out of the cushon and makes it flat! Its funny to watch. Then my
older sister came over with her daughter(Bethany-almost 2) and we
showed her. She thought it was neat. Then Benjamin(my bro) thought of
doing it to stuffed animals and so we tryed it and it worked. Bethany
really liked that
Well we leave in 4 days to go to CA...I can hardly wait! We might go to
the coast but probably not. I've never seen the coast yet so I was
wanting to but we prob won't have time. BUT, just in case, I'm bring my
swim clothes

Benjamins birthday was last thursday so we had a party on friday. We
played tag and darebase so it was a lot of fun. After that some friends
invited us to go watch a game called "Bonkey ball" I don't know if any
of you have heard of it but I hadn't untill then. Its basically like
basketball only you play it on donkeys and you don't dribble...I know,
sounds crazy, but it was great! I wasn't expecting so many people
though! There was about 1,000 all packed and crammed in there. It was
kinda interesting finding a seat but it was ok. After about the first
half hour or hour I relaxed and had a good time. I was thinking that
was the biggest crowd I'd been in, but I then remembered my grandma's
church(which has about 2,000 people) and later on I remembered I went
to The Idaho Center once to watch a rodeo and once to a food show.
Which I'm guesing has a lot more than 2,000!
So after being out untill 11:00 or something we all got up at 8:00 and
ate breakfast(which was waffles my sister made) then we sort of
prepared for a hike we had planned in the afternoon with our friends
that took us to the bonkeyball game. My sister packed a picnick and we
headed off when Kylie got here(she planned to go with us) and got there
around 3:00. We hiked all around their property for about 3 hours
but me and Kylie didn't go as far as everyone else cause she got tired,
so we just waited for them and walked back after a while. After the
hike they invited us to dinner, so we stayed. After dinner Kylie, Isaac
and Rebcca left and Mary, Benjamin and me stayed. We just sat around
and played chinese checkers and stuff. Then we went home at around
11:30 and got home at 12:00 which was kinda late. The next day I
went to my sisters house to help mud some walls. After that I helped
Caleb and James feed the cows. I got to drive a tractor for the first
time! It was fun. I hlped Anna make dinner and then I watched a couple
movies(Verginia's Run and Man From Snowy River) while the boys went
cyote hunting,(they didn't get any.) Then we went home.
The next day I didn't do much, just house work and cooking.
This morning we sang at the Senior Center again, so that was fun. We
sang for about an hour, ate lunch, and came home. That basically wraps
up my week for ya! (hope I didn't bore anyone to death ;) )
Cya later and God Bless!

Hello to everyone! Welcome to my blog. I had another one but decided to switch over, so here I am.
This week I've helped my sister pack and clean, cause her and her
family are moving about 25 minutes from here,(its a bit farther to
drive now but thankfully not too far.) They should be starting to move
in today and I might help them some more if they need it.
My other sister came over the other day and explained to us that she
would be going on a trip with her friend to washington, to see another
friend(or something like that) So that's quite a long flight(they are
flying) esp. with a baby!(Bethany, my niece.) They leave on the 7th and
will be gone a week. I'm going to miss them...esp Bethany! Her husband
is staying home cause he has to work so he will miss them to, I'm sure.
I hope my brother comes to our cousins reception. He lives almost a
thousand miles away, I think, and so we don't get to see him a lot
I've been re-reading a historical fiction book seriese, its about the
civil war. I don't usually like to read things that aren't true but I
don't mind if its historical and has all the facts right cause it
actually helps me remember if I have a story to "tie" the facts to.
Plus I enjoy it and it increases my vocabulary and reading comprehnsion
etc. I've never been really "into" reading much, but if somethings
particularly interesting to me and I don't feel like its wasting my
time, I'll read it. I also like to pay attention to the style of
writing. Like, for me, it almost makes it more interesting when I find
errors in the spelling/an or, words that don't quite mean what the
writer intended :P But anyways...life is interesting!
