Halloween
|
Well let's see.... what have we been up to since I wrote last? We went trick or treating in our town and got lots of candy so I guess I can expect to pay for that at the dentist office in a few months LOL. Really though I think my kids get too much candy - I do try to limit it and even throw it away whenever I get the chance. I guess I'm not the best example though because I've had my share of chocolate since all the sinful stuff has entered our home oops! I friend of mine once said she didn't have a sweet tooth she had a sweet fang.... I think I do too. Anyway..... guess what? I actually dressed up for Halloween for the first time in many, many years! My daughter was Snow White and I was the evil Queen. Too bad we didn't get any pictures though - except for the lady at Pizza Hut who took it... with her camera. Guess I'll never see that. I was only dressed up for part of the day because after lunch dd decided to change into Princess Lea and I wasn't about to be the Evil Queen without a Snow White. The youngest was a skeleton for part of the day and the Red Power Ranger for the evening. Our oldest wouldn't participate at first, but later (I grimmace when I type this) he dressed as the Grim Reaper - uggh. He knew his Daddy had the costume and asked to wear it. I just didn't like that he was scaring little kids by having on that mask. Not my favorite day of the year - but we got through that!
