Hair
The hair crisis has made it's way through most members of the family. It all started with dh before we were married. He had the hair crisis and finally decided he wanted to grow his hair long. I'm paying for that now - my oldest son has decided to be just like his daddy! (He recently saw a picture of his daddy with long hair) Actually he has decided to grow his hair to look like Zac and Cody (a show on disney). I had to look up pictures of Zac and Cody to see exactly where we were going with this.......and I've decided my son wants to grow a mop on his head!!! His daddy is consenting since he didn't get a choice when he was little, and he hated haircuts too. I'm hanging in there, although the constant hair in the eyes is REALLY annoying! I know why parents make kids get haircuts now. It's been awhile but my daughter had the haircutting bug too. She had a friend over and got that really sticky green slime (thanks Granny *wink*) all in her hair. Rather than tell me, she and her friend each got scissors and started cutting!!! Granny really did help fix that - she cuts all our hair - even when it isn't due to some crisis from a sticky goodie she passed out LOL. Then, most recently, the hair bug infected my youngest. He had much different symptoms than the other males in the family. Whereas they were infected with the aversion to haircuts, this ds was infected with a desire to cut it. Never go to a 3 year old barber! So now we are heading out for Thanksgiving at dh parents (who you'll remember were the ones that gave dh this haircut bug in the first place) with a son with hairy eyes and the other who looks like he has the mange. But a grandparents love is unconditional so I'm not worried. It's just hair! It will grow back and it can be cut again!
