Doesn't the world seem like it's a small place sometimes? Well, if you friend starts homeschooling tell her we have a lot of great homeschool groups here!
I have a husband and 4 sons that would be ALL over this workshop! Wish we had something similar in Texas!!! Let me know if Stan has any workshop buddies in the Houston, Tx area!!!
Sorry you had to come across my blog when I was on my "soapbox"! haha I really don't walk around with my hackles up!
Last year our family motto was "Striving for Heaven in 2007"....it was my kids idea to have a family motto...they're into knights and such so they figured we needed one.
LOVE your blog by the way....will be adding you to my friends so I can come back often to "visit".
I'm excited to get posts to my blog. It helps me navigate this new community a bit. Being at home so much, I sometimes wonder if there really are other people outside my shoe!
Wow, Your family tree will be very interesting to trace. Difficult too I Imagin. My spouse is adopted and we are unable to trace any of his blood relatives. However we have traced his adopted family way back. They owned slaves. A very sad part of our history. Anyway many slave records can be traced through old family ledgers. Hopefully you will be able to keep finding information on your family. Such a beautiful heritage for your children.
opps...I forgot to log in ( above post) Sorry! One more reason I changed to Blog Spot is that HSB took the photo space of all three of my blogs as one account. That is why I ran out of space to post photos ( with out using an outside source such as flicker). I had spent hours moving my blogs to one account only to find I had run out of space! So I am still here for my regular day to day blog and I love the community here.
Hi! I noticed you stopped by the Art Blog. I tried to leave a reply but to no avail. We started art with some really basic lessons. I would be glad to share with you if you send me your email address. You can leave in on the inbox here. ( when you go to manage friends there is a way to email privately) Blessings, Tina PS I somehow messed up my blog so if you cannot get to it today be patient! I will have it fixed by monday.
Hey. Sorry I missed it. We were supposed to move, so I didn't want to spend the money. And then we didn't move, so we could have gone. Bummer. I hope you had a good time.
