Skillet is my new favorite band!! On Monday we were at the Springfield Mall...and I was bored so I asked my mom if I could go to F.Y.E. (a music store). I spent FOREVER trying to find the Christian music section...and finially I asked where it was....I HAD WALKED PASSED IT LIKE 20 TIMES!!!!! It was one teeny-tiny section...:( but anyways...I was looking looking..mmmmhhmmhhh....looking at the Newsboys, Kutlass, Mercy Me...all like 18 dollars, which to me is way too much to spend on a cd...then I saw Skillet...I was like *thought bubble* Hey, I've heard of them!! Jessica (an old friend) liked them!! and since we shared the same taste in music....I'll probably like them too!! *end thought bubble* First time I've ever bought a cd without ever having heard the group before........I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. I put the cd in the car to listen to it...first song starts out with loud guitars....my mom was like, "NO!! turn it off!! I can't handle it" Let's just say I loved them right from then. *wink wink* haha
