South Dakota needs volunteer
helpers to get out the vote...
From: Judie Brown, president of American Life League
Dear pro-life friend,
Two weeks from today, the fate of millions of children in the womb could be decided as South Dakota voters go to the polls to uphold -- or reject -- their state's lifesaving ban on medical and surgical abortions.
The outcome of this crucial vote is poised to have a sweeping impact all across America.
Here's the problem...
In addition to its $8,000,000 media campaign, Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry have hired top-gun political consultants to mobilize their "get out the vote" efforts (the same political operatives who got abortion advocate Barack Obama elected to the U.S. Senate and who turned him into a media darling).
The abortion chain is flying activists to South Dakota from around the country in its efforts to get abortion advocates to the polls, and to confuse and mislead pro-lifers in hopes that they will vote against the ban.
The sad thing is that Planned Parenthood's scheme seems to be working.
Early voting is already underway in South Dakota, and the latest polls show the pro-life side behind by three percentage points... even though 3 out of 4 South Dakotans consider themselves "pro-life."
If we don't mobilize more pro-life volunteers on the ground -- and FAST! -- the election could possibly go down to defeat.
Nobody knows when (or IF) we'll get another chance like this if Planned Parenthood wins in South Dakota on election day.
