The Princess's Tower

• Jun. 13, 2008 - Here Again!

Hi Everyone! I'm very sorry I haven't written in such a long time! The school year being so busy and our schedule seemed to be the most hectic. But now that the year is ( for now), and summer is finally here I now have a lot of time on my hands. So far, nothing exciting has really happened. I went to see the midnight showing of  "Prince Caspian" : ) and took a short trip up to Waco and Dallas. All in all that's about it. I'm sorry that I haven't responded to any of your commets yet, but I get to them as soon as possible. Well, I'll keep you updated!

Good Heavens!

Ealier this afternoon I had the most "wonderful" idea of cleaning my room. Now my bedroom looks like that a bomb and a volcano exploded! But that's what you get...if you want to make something clean, you got to make it dirty. And do I mean dirty! There are clothes EVERYWHERE!!! On my bed, the floor, and in my closet (the survivors.) But besides my bedroom being a disaster, today was fairly dull. Maybe next week will be better. At least the cloudy days are gone, and we are getting very good  "picnic weather." I haven't been on a picnic in a loooooooonnng time, perhapes I can convice my parnets to go on one together. That would be fun...if  I defeat the Bedroom Dragon. Alas! I must make haste, Squire! Fetch me my sword! ....Cornball...I know.. ;-)

Hey Bloggers! Sorry I haven't written in a while, I have been so busy.  But this second semester has been very good...so far.... Anyway, I'm just glad that the weekend is here! In my neck of the woods, it's been very cold, wet, and gloomy. You know what I'm talking about... The kind of weather that makes you want to wear bright colors--just make the place lighten up! LOL. Oh well, dark skys won't last forever. Besides I  enjoy taking a good nap on a cloudy day. Recently my sister and I watched the movie"The Waterhorse." In my opinion it was well made and it's a good, clean, fantasy flim. Nowadays, many fantasy movies tend to be too intense or too scary for the little ones. No more sugar-plum fairies or starry-eyed unicorns can be seen on the screen anymore. All in all "The Waterhorse" is a wonderful family film for anyone who enjoys a good laugh or a good cry (the sweet kind.) It's a movie for all ages, young and old or the in between! Adios for now!

Hey everyone. I'm sorry I haven't been writing for so long, school has been very stressful and busy. But at the same time it's fun.  I had and a Literature and a History test yesterday...(Sigh)...oh well, school is school . Right now, my family is watching "National Treasure."   I love that movie!!! And I'm so ready for the sequel!!  LOL  Christmas Break will be here soon and my fellow students and I can't wait for it to come. Christmas is my favorite holiday! The lights, the colors, and the smell of cinnamon is just wonderful! But what's even more special is the birth of Christ. Even just writing about it makes my heart sing! I hope to write again soon.

• Jul. 31, 2007 - New Entry...so sorry for not writing in so long!

Greetings readers! I apologize for not being as dedicated  as most you bloggers are. For an insider my family and I are back from the Dominican Republic. We all had a wonderful time, seeing good freinds and meeting new ones. It was very hard for Faith and I to say goodbye.  Our team spend the last two days resting at a resort. During the mission trip we helped out at EBDV (VBS), it was FUN! Mom and I got the chance to go back to the village we visted last year. I was  thrilled to see my little freinds, they have grown so much! The childern of our missions group painted benches for the chapel we built last year, even some of the adults helped out!

Right now I'm hooked on the Redwall series wrtten by Brian Jacques, I have only read the first one (Redwall) and now I'm reading Martin the Warrior. While I'm reading,  I sometimes imagine  that I'm a little mouse helping to defend Redwall Abbey or cooking in the kitchen with Cornflower. I know it's childish, but it's still fun!
