Do Not Grow Weary

or Rambling Thoughts of a Homeschool Mom ...

And let us not be
weary in well doing:
for in due season
we shall reap,
if we faint not.

A Bit About Me

Posted on Oct. 11, 2006 at 3:50 PM

in Rambling Thoughts

My name is Rachelle and I am 37 years old. I have been married to my sweet husband for 18 years. We were married at the tender ages of 18 and 20 … no regrets at all! We have four daughters ages 16, 14, 8 and 5. We have homeschooled the girls from the beginning and cannot imagine living any other way. We live in Arizona where the Summers are miserable with 24 hour a day hot but Fall, Winter and Spring are wonderful!

Why did I start blogging? My heart’s desire is to help and encourage women in their role as a wife and mother. I want to share the things I have learned over the last 18 years as a wife. Now that my children are older, and I can see the good fruit of our family ways, I want to share the things we did/do in our home and homeschool. I have had my blog for awhile now and I am still struggling to find my voice and share from my heart. I can think of so many things to write late at night in bed or in the shower but put me in front the computer and my mind draws a blank!

:)

Thank you for posting your first assignment. We have something in common with each other -- 4 daughters! I look forward to learning more from you :) I liked your input on the dream house and being content. Very important in our Christian walk!

Welcome to Blogger friends school. I guess there are some new members. I will have to check it out. Seems we are growing and that is good.

Hi there!

Thanks for coming to visit! I've been trying to make my way around but with toddler twins (and 3 older siblings) and my hubby's being sick this week, I haven't had much time online.

I agree with you about the house...if it takes away your contentment, it's not worth it. I realize, though, that my "dream house in the country" will never happen. It's fun to dream, though.

My late, great mil lived in Sierra Vista (near Ft. Huachuca) for years. We enjoyed visiting...in the winter!

I agree with you on contentment. That is something the Lord has really worked with me. I do love what He has given me. Looking forward to getting to know you more.

Roses are my favorite, too! Although over the years, I must admit to growing a fondness for lilacs! Too bad I have a black thumb!
