And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9

Things that make me smile ... at the zoo
Posted on Jan. 29, 2007 at 11:42 AM in Things That Make Me Smile

We went to the zoo for a little while this weekend. Thankfully we have a membership so we do not have to try to do the whole zoo in one day. The tiger and lions were wide awake and we were there at just the right time … they are afraid of the sprinklers that water their area!! When we got to the Tiger he had just jumped into a tree to evade the sprinklers. I got some great photos of him jumping out of the tree and running away. The lions were sitting with their backs to the crowd. The male would look over at us every so often. I got some neat profile shots of him. Little did they seem to know that they were next for the sprinklers. On came the sprinklers and up jumped the lions!! It was rather funny. Cats are cats, big or small, water is the enemy, when it does fall!
