My front yard has become a baby bird flight training school. They especially like to sit on the hose!

What kind of bird is the one you posted? Is it a finch? We have chickadees nesting in our birdhouse on our porch and it seems to be taking soooo long, I wonder if the Lord is waiting for them to hatch on Mother's Day... a precious gift for me to enjoy? I've been able to watch the baby chickadees fledge the last 4 years. They are so precious!
