Roses for Mother's Day

My sweet husband and daughters gave me a dozen of these lovely roses for Mother's Day. I love roses. :)

Lovely roses! They are especially interesting posted right above the artichoke--similar shapes in a way, but such different textures. Fascinating photo pairing!

You take the most beautiful photos! I was reminded of that today while trying to get a shot at a little hummer and remembered your beautiful picture - I didn't get the shot. Wow, losing plants due to heat - it was 39 degrees here this a.m. - a little cooler and I'd have lost a lot due to frost.

Oh how I wish we could go on the Jamestown trip. How fun. You guys have fun for me too, okay?
