Mar. 4, 2008 - Ugh...
Wells, my family had been down with the flu for awhile so I had been thinking, "what a bunch of babies they all are," what with all their whining and moaning and lying around.
I expected to stay healthy as usual, because I almost NEVER get sick. And so I forget just how utterly disgusting, excrutiating, and horrible it can really be.
Because yes, I did get sick, and was throwing up and lying in bed with bags and tissues all around me and all that other lovely stuff, but I'm happy to say that I've finally gotten a little better...just in time to go on a long car ride to visit the grandparents tomorrow where I'll probably have to answer all kinds of annoying questions such as what do I plan to do with the rest of my life, how is my higher education going, how is my love life going, am I eating properly; you know, stuff like that.
The worst part is that I'll probably just say the first thing that pops into my head![]()
But at least the long car ride will be fun. I could stay in a car all day long as long as there's good music on and it's not too hot and stuffy, lolz
On a totally random note, I'm getting really interested in kabuki theatre. It's really awesome in an ethereal, otherworldly kind of way
It's even better than my geisha obsession, lolz
Who would've thought that guys playing women could be so very achingly beautiful, lol

Jan. 12, 2008 - '08
Hullo, everyone, I haven't been around in awhile much as usual, but I still love writing a little something up here once in awhile. The holidays were fun, I even got a new mp3 player to replace my old broken one, and now it's already '08. I'm liking it so far. My new Year's Resolution is to learn computer coloring, which I've wanted to learn since forever, and to write more fanfiction. I have others as well but those are the only two that I'll mention for now, lol.
My parents took my favorite stray cat to the shelter though because my father was allergic. I miss her so much. I really adore cats...

May. 10, 2007 - Random info
Hullo everybody! Yup I know I've been neglecting this lately, so I'll just admit it. I've been totally DeviantArt obsessed, if you like to draw or look at art, than it is soooooo addictive!!!!
I'm not ready to put up a link to my DeviantArt page up just yet though, I'm kinda shy about it*giggle*. But I'm back here and I changed my layout to chibi Deidara and Sasori from Naruto, is it not adorable? And I changed my song to MyChem, because I was tired of the last one which was Paperthin Hymn by Anberlin. It's an awesome song by an awesome Christian band, I was just a little tired of it,lol
Anyways it's May and that means that graduation is coming up soon. I still can't believe that I'm really that old and that school is really going to be over so soon but I am definitely ready and I know what I want to do with my life so I'm not angsting about it or anything but I'm not jumping up and down about it either.
A couple days ago there was this huge forest fire here in Florida and from where I live we could smell and even see some of the smoke. Acres of forest were burnt down just because somebody left a burning cigarette there or something . It's kinda sad. I'm a big nature/animal person, which is why I hope to get into animal rescue or something along that line. Well I guess that's all for today. ByeBye, luvs

Hi everybody, I'm sooo sorry that I haven't written in so long, I've been suffering from a bad case of senioritis lately, hopefully I'll get past it soon. I can't believe that it's March and it(school) will all be over soon, I really don't feel that old yet, I guess, lol. Anyway the above links are pictures( I was too airheaded to figure out how to just get them up unfortunately), the first two are of me so that everyone will know what I look like, and the other two are pictures that I drew. I draw all the time; I really love it, and as you can see I've become sort of a Narutard, I'm constantly drawing pictures from that show and I get kind of fangirlish for some of the characters, such as Neji, Deidara, e.t.c. That's all for now, but I would love to hear more from all you guys again, and soory I haven't been on in a while.

Feb. 5, 2007 - What's Up
Hullo everybody. Valentines Day is coming. Nothing planned really. I'm more excited about the Florida State Fair, I'm such a dork, lol But yup, I'm single, I'm too romantic for a boyfriend right now, if that makes any sense in the world. So here's the lyrics to a depressing song I like. It's called Play Dead and it's by Bjorl, one of my favorite female singers. I'll probably be lying down on the bed eating chocolate and listening to this on valentine's day,lol
darling stop confusing me
with your wishful thinking
hopeful enbraces
don't you understand?
i have to go through this
i belong to here where
no-one cares and no-one loves
no light no air to live in
a place called hate
the city of fear
i play dead
it stops the hurting
i play dead
and hurting stops
it's sometimes just like sleeping
curling up inside my private tortures
i nestle into pain
hug suffering
caress every ache
i play dead
it stops the hurting

Jan. 13, 2007 - J Rock Fever
Wow, it's a whole new year and I haven't written anything in a while. I hope everyone has been having a good year so far. I've been okay. Lately I've been getting really into J-rock and J-pop music. Some of my favorite Japanese bands and singers are Do As Infinity, Utada Hikaru, L'Arc en Ciel, Asian Kung Fu Generation, some Dir en Grey, and more. Most of these groups I discovered from anime, AKFG for example sings the theme song to the second season of Naruto, but some I discovered on my own. Even if you don't know Japanese, a lot of it is good music. As far as regular non-japanese music goes, I listen to mostly every alternative and rock group that you can possibly think of, and a little bit of industrial too, although most of that is a little on the crazy side, lol. Sometimes I'll get a little obsessed with certain songs and listen to them over and over till I get tired of them.

Dec. 25, 2006 - Merry Cristmas to All!!!!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas everyone. I've had a good holiday, yesterday my family and I went to a light show and today we've just stayed at home and pigged out. I'm very content because I got a TV, an MP3 player( my ipod broke) and my favorite perfume. Oh yeah I also got volume 15 of my favorite manga Fruits Basket. It was a good one, I almost cried in the middle of it because it was telling about Yuki's past, I'm more of a Kyo fan but still it was very sad, but I love stuff like that. Anyways this is the lyrics to one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time, don't get me wrong, I'm a Christmas lover, I'm not a Christmas hater like some people but I just LOVE this song although some people might consider it a little innapropriate, lol. It's I Won't Be Home For Christmas by Blink 182.
Outside the carolers start to sing
I can't describe the joy they bring
Cause joy is something they don't bring me
My Girlfriend is by my side
From the roof are hanging sickles of ice
Their whiny voices get irritating
It's Christmas time again
So I stand with a dead smile on my face
Wondering how much of my time they'll waste
Oh God ,I hate these Satan's helpers
And then I guess I must have snapped
Because I grabbed the baseball bat
And made them all run for shelter
It's Christmas time again
It's time to be nice to the people you can't stand, all year
I'm growing tired of all this Christmas cheer
You people scare me
Please stay away from my home
If you don't get beat down
Just leave the presents and let me be alone
Well I guess it's not cool to freak on Christmas Eve
Cause the cops came and arrested me
They had an unfair advantage
And even though the jail didn't have a tree
Christmas came a night early
Cause a guy named Bubba unwrapped my package
I won't be home, I won't be home for Christmas
I won't be home, I won't be home for Christmas

Dec. 17, 2006 - Busy
Hello everyone, I haven't been able to write anything in awhile because my computer's been having problems and plus I've been busy with Christmas shopping and such of course. I got something for my sister and both my brothers and they got something for me too. This is the first year that I've actually bought something for everyone with my pwn money, it was hard but fun at the same time. I guess now I can understand what adults go through this time of the year, lol. The only thing that I asked for this year was a Hello Kitty TV for my room. I'm kind of a Hello Kitty fan because I've been obsessed with cats for most of my life and she's just soooo kawaii(cute) lol

Nov. 28, 2006 - Kakashi fanart
Hooray, more fanart( sorry that the paper got all wrinkly)!!! I can't post it big like I want to though, I have to keep posting it small, how annoying. Anyways, that would be Kakashi sensei of Naruto fame. Probably one of my favorite episodes of that series would be the one where Team 7 really wants to find out what's behind the mask so they ask him and he's like, "oh you should've just asked me sooner," and starts to take it off so they're all burning with anticipation, even Sasuke, but there's just another mask underneath the whole time. LOL When they actually do show what he actually looks like, I'll probably scream or something, I get way too into anime, but I'm just crazy like that, lol Unfortunately for me though, my mom think Naruto, Inuyasha, YuYuHakusho, FullMetalAlchemist, SailorMoon and basically every other show that I like is evil and demonic. She thinks the same thing about most of the music that I listen to and most of the books that I read. This is frustrating, to say the least, but I know that I'm not the only teenager in the world with that kind of problem so I try not to let it bother me much. She's only trying to protect my spirit and such. lol Anyways, Thanksgiving was okay, I got to visit a friend and talk and have fun. I also made pumpkin pie, which I didn't get to actually taste until today, strange as that sounds. It was still good though. My sister is the cook in the family however. I usually can't stand cooking. Well, gotta go now, I'll write something longer next time.

Nov. 13, 2006 - Sand in my Swimsuit
This weekend I went to the beach with family and friends. One of the good things about being in Florida is that you can go to the beach in November, although I usually just like swimming in a regular old pool because stepping on sharp seashell edges, spitting up salt, getting sand inside my bathing suit, and getting knocked down by waves isn't my idea of fun. But I must admit that those things have their own special charm if your in the right mood, lol. The weather was nice, but the water was FREEZING, and I felt so naked in my bathing suit cause I'm not used to being scantily dressed or however you call it, but I had a good time anyways. There were plenty of surfer boys, but I was too busy shivering and trying to find nice shells to bring back to my little brother, so I didn't get a good look at any of them unfortunately. And of course I was dumb enough to throw a potato chip at a seagull (to be nice) and that sent a whole flock my way, which was frightening to say the least and then everyone was looking at me, I hate when I do stupid things without realizing it.
Well, I guess that's all for now. When I got home I was sick from swimming in the cold water too long and my underwear was full of sand( sorry if that's TMI, lol). Anyways, I'm going to try to draw more often so more fanart should be on the way. Thanks to everyone who read my fanfic, next time I'll write a better summary or add a better link.

Nov. 6, 2006 - Don't Wear Sexy Shoes to Church!!!
Well, yesterday I visited a new church with my mom, sister, and some family friends. We've been looking for a new church for a while because the one that we had originally been going to got closed down. Anyways, since I hadn't gotten really dressed up in a while I decided to wear my FAVORITE pair of black platform sandals that I got from Hot Topic instead of flats like I usually wear to church. They look kinda like the ones in the picture, only they have cute little bows on them. Well, when we got to church and had to sing and stand up and everything my feet were KILLING me. I was in so much pain but I tried to look happy and everything. Seriously, I almost wanted to cry for a minute. To make things worse, when the service started, it was all in Spanish, which I barely understood ( spanish was my first language but I forgot it as I got older and English took over). They had these headsets that you could wear to hear a translation of the service but only one of them worked so my sister took it because she knows even less Spanish than I do. I was thinking to myself "great, this is just my luck." But it wasn't all a bad day because after the service we all went out to eat and my friend Christina was there. But oh yeah, one other thing sucked. This cute little girl that we babysit sometimes was there and she had this pack of Naruto trading cards with really nice artwork on them and she was like "I found these and I wanna give em to someone. You like these kinda shows, don't you?" and me being the crazy otaku that I am, I was like "Give em to me!" But my mom and my sister thought they were evil so I went home with sore feet and empty hands. Knowing me though, I'll definitely still be wearing those shoes again because I'm the type of girl who will take pain for beauty. lol

Nov. 1, 2006 - Drowning
Here's my story! It's Rurouni Kenshin. Here's a link for story info http://www.geocities.com/lovely_no_miko/about.html Hope you guys like it and don't find it too dark and depressing.
Oh, ouch!, Tomoe uttered, clutching her bleeding hand to her chest. Lately, even something as simple as chopping fish for dinner seemed absolutely impossible to concentrate on for her. The tranquil beauty of her rustic surroundings seemed mocking and threatening to her as she contemplated the frightening thoughts within her mind. Blood. She'd already seen barrels more than she had ever expected to see in her lifetime. The knife in her hand seemed to shimmer invitingly as a shining escape from the horrors of reality and the cares of the world, so that she had to look away. She sighed. What would Kenshin think if he were to come home from his work (as an apocathery, ironically) to find her still and bleeding on the floor of their home, she wondered. Would she be just another corpse among the countless numbers he'd seen? Would he miss her or think of her? It frightened Tomoe that his thoughts and feelings mattered so much to her. After all, he was a murdurer, a pitiless butcher who had brutally snatched away the lives of her beloved fiance, Kyosato Akira, and so many others. At least, that was how she had thought of him, before she'd met him.
The glistening light of the moon on her face kept Tomoe wide awake later that night, staring at Kenshin's sleeping form across from her. What could he be dreaming about, she thought as she watched him. His face had a childlike frightened expression and he seemed to be mumbling to himself. A part of her was fiercely tempted to to comfort him in her arms and soothe him with her voice as she used to with her own little brother, Enishi, and to stay beside him through the night. But she could never, ever be so rash. She was nearly breathless as she softly rolled off the futon and silently fled from the house. She couldn't stay another minute in that little room. She quickly made her way outdoors, free, but not unafraid. This feeling, she thought, is like being drowned to death. I'm struggling, swimming away, and gasping for every breath, but really I can do nothing at all. The warmth and stillness of the night gave her a small measure of peace. She walked in a near trancelike state to a small lake. It was so mesmerizing in the darkness that she was struck by a deep desire to jump in, despite the fact that her long, heavy mass of black hair and nightclothes would weigh her down to the bottom of the lake where she would die in deepest
solitude. Perhaps, she thought with sudden longing, her late mother and Akira would be there
to greet her in the purple clouds and golden skies of Amida Buddha's paradise. With a childish
eagerness at that thought, she placed a foot in the water, but the sudden chill brought her back to her senses. A blazing hell was where she would go for dishonoring her dear fiancι's memory by
cherishing compassion for his killer. She desperately needed to put aside that compassion. One's duty always came before their emotions. She'd been taught that since birth, and she was
convinced that avenging her fiancι's death was her deepest duty. Kenshin deserved to be destroyed! Tomoe? She turned at the sound of her name and was so panicked and startled
to see Kenshin that she tripped right into the icy lake. The scene that she had imagined so fondly and poetically just a moment before was rapidly turning into a horrifying reality. She was totally surrounded by coldness, as well as an almost sacred silence. Maybe it was a fitting way to die for a woman who'd lived for silence and serenity, before they were both so painfully snatched away from her by the same young man whose strong arms wrapped away from her at that very moment; excruciatingly tight and close, ready to carry her up to safety. Tomoe was deeply puzzled by his caring nature, and felt as if she were drowning in more ways than one. We should stay here forever, Kenshin, she thought as her breath drifted away. Here, where no one can ever bother us, she reflected as darkness claimed her.
Tomoe awoke coughing and shivering on the floor of their home in a very disheveled state. And in Kenshin's arms. He was an assassin, trained to notice even the slightest movements of an opponent. Of course he would've noticed me leaving, Tomoe thought, feeling sullen and ashamed. Looking around, she was reminded of the night that she and Kenshin had first met. She had witnessed him skillfully slaughter someone, and the blood from that killing had left her nearly as soaking wet as she was now. Kenshin had carried her to safety that night also, shockingly. She had been overwhelmed, not only from the blood, but from the fact that she had never once imagined that her fiance's dreaded killer would be such a young and sad looking man; barely older than her own younger brother. Tomoe reminisced about how one day at her old home, a maid had been watching overEnishi and some other, younger children. They had started to become rowdy and uncontrollable, as children often were. "You stop right this instant," the maid had yelled," before the battousai comes and slices your heads right off your naughty little bodies!" The children had quickly calmed down after that. It almost made Tomoe smile to imagine that the wicked, bloodlusting demon of hers and the children'snightmares and fantasies was a sensitiveyouth not even older than herself. She glanced up into his dark eyes. She'd never been held so closely by someone before. It was oddly comforting at first, but it was starting to feel unsettling. His steady heartbeat on her head seemed unbearably loud in the akward silence. "Can you please put me down now," she whispered. He stared hard at her with his sincere and trusting eyes, making her feel as if she were drowning all over again. "I don't know exactlywhat it is that makes you sad, Tomoe, or what makes you want to die," he said with deep concern in his voice. "But I can understand because I don't care much for living either. But now," he said, shyly looking down, "now there's youand it's different, so please don't go. I, I want you to be happy." "Please forgive my foolishness," Tomoe said with her head down, eyes tearing up. She wondered how she ever became so weak willed.
A few nights later, Tomoe stood over the futon where Kenshin lay sleeping, her face firm with resolve. She was going to put aside her growing feelings for him no matter what the cost. How could she be so fickle and disloyal after all that her and Akira had shared. Earlier that day, she and Kenshin had drunken a little too much sake during a festival. She was feeling a raging headache as a result, but Kenshin slept like a kitten in the sun. She stared like one possesed at the dancing flame coming from an oil lamp, and was filled with a desire to burn everything. She took a sudden guilty glance at Kenshin and knew that she could never, ever harm him with her own hands. So, she thought bitterly, I'll let the flames take us both! She imagined the tall, burning flames and stinging smoke completely consuming their little home with an eerie sense of foreboding. As she reached out for the flame, a crushing weight hit her heart when she remembered how he'd rescued her from the chill of the lake and from her own misery. Who will save him from the the fire, she wondered. Who's going to save him from hell? With those thoughts filling her mind, she turned around and went to lie beside him.
"Ouch,no!" Tomoe shrieked in pain as she managed to onceagain cut herself preparing a meal. The blood ran down her hand in a soft trickle. This time, however, Kenshin was there. He quickly took her hand in his and had it cleaned and bandaged. Tomoe felt like a clumsy fool. " I, I'm very sorry,"she stuttered in a barely audible voice, but Kenshin just brought her hand to his face and softly pressed his lips to it. At that moment, she felt as if nothing else existed, no sorrow, nodeath or pain, just his mouth on her skin. "Such a sensitive girl as you shouldn't be using such sharp things,"he teased. "Don't worry. I will finish cooking for you." "But, but that's a woman's job," Tomoe protested, but he'd already started anyway. She sat and watched him. The ghost of a smile came briefly upon her face as she reflected to herself. I'm no longer swimming against the raging current of my love for you, Kenshin, she thought. I've already drowned.

Oct. 29, 2006 - Random Stuff
Life has been the usual, nothin really new has happenned lately, but there is one exciting thing that will happen soon and that is that I'm going to start learning how to drive soon. That is very VERY cool. I really can't wait but I'm also a little nervous because here in Florida, there are some really crazy drivers. Just the other day I was sitting out on my front porch getting some fresh air and these two guys were driving by with their music blasting. They were both sitting out of the car, if you can imagine that, and when they noticed me watching them, they started singing and dancing. Seriously, boys will do really idiotic things to impress girls or whatever or they'll try to seem cool and daring but it just looks childish.
Anyways, soon I'm going to be posting some of my super emo anime fanfiction stories for all of you to enjoy( at least I hope you will). I'll try to add a link to explain the backround of whatever show it's based on. I'm kind of a fanfiction addict, it's such a timekiller for bored otakus (hardcore anime fans) like me, lol. I could spend hours reading and writing it.

Oct. 26, 2006 - A Little Picture
This is a little picture that I drew recently of Tohru and Kagura from the manga/anime Fruits Basket. It's a really cute anime that I would definitely reccommend to shojo fans. It's a pretty good mixture of comedy and drama. I usually just leave my pictures black and white, but I actually colored this one. It made me feel sort of like a kid again, which is all sweet and good of course, but then I took it a little overboard with the giant heart and the "friendship." Oh, well. I criticize myself too much sometimes. lol

Oct. 25, 2006 - Japanese Obsession
I really love geishas and Japanese culture. I think it's really fascinating. I've actually started collecting geisha dolls. They're really beautiful and have georgeous kimonos, though i'll admit that some are sorta creepy. My grandma bought me my first one and I hope to keep getting more. I also collect Japanese fans although they break easily. I like to smack my little brothers with them so I guess that's probably why, lol. And yeah, I speak a little Japanese. I speak japanese the way a four year old speaks english which is just barely decent enough to get by, but that should change with time. At least I hope.
