Did any of you guys watch the Inauguration this past tuesday? Did it bug anyone beside me what Mr. preacher said about 'the white will embrace what's right', or something like that. As far as I knew, that's what we've been doing for a while now. Like all 'white' people are bad because sometime in our past our ancestors kept slaves. 'Black' people kept slaves too, and they still do as a matter of fact, in Africa. And anyway, we're all the same 'race', some people just have more/less melanin than others. Why do they make such a big deal over it? My thinking is 'Get over it already!' lol. I'm part Irish, and I don't get mad at people because their ancestors made fun of my ancestors when they came to America.
Martin Luther King Jr. said to judge people on the content of their character, not their skin colour. That goes for white people too.

HAHAHAHA, omgosh, I just about DIED when I read "such distinguished signature"!!! That's TOO funny!! lolroflwtime [laugh out loud, roll on the floor laughing with tears in my eyes...yeah, a little overboard. :P] I know what you mean, though; the stupid media exalts Obama to the skies and trashes all the good people out there, or say nothing about them. Do you know that the March for Life was not mentioned ONCE in the newspaper? or on the radio, except by honest, good people who know what's right? It makes me so mad!! And the worst part about it is, that the people who support Obama generally no nothing about FOCA or how pro-choice [I prefer pro-death, actually] he is, because the media is nix about it. *sigh* Oh well...I'd better stop myself before I REALLY start rambling! :D
I wish you could have gone to the March!! It rocks!! This was my first time, and I was SO excited. It was terrific. I wish Obama listened to all the speakers who gave speeches there [they were SO GOOD!!] and had seen all the thousands and thousands of people marching.
Oh, and yes, we did watch some of the inauguration; only for the sake of history however. I spent the whole time quietly seething with rage at everything he said, such as "We must stop the slaughter of the innocents!" in reference to the war in Iraq. He's such a hypocrite.
Well, there I go rambling again. Anyways, it just feels good to get this off my chest, you know. ;)
