On Friday I went to an entrepreneurship workshop with my Dad. I learned a lot of stuff. One of my favorite things was: “The Seven Deadly Sins.” They were about things a top-of-the-line business owner should remember.
Here is some of the advice they gave:
- Stay involved with your employees
- Don’t be greedy
- It doesn’t matter what you start with, it’s what you end with
- Founding a company is your life, and is very stressful. (say goodbye to your dark hair)
- Wasteful spending by the business owner sets the tone for the whole company
- Don’t be arrogant
