Imploded buildings
Some of us in our home really enjoy watching explosions. This one happened in North Carolina and I found some good video in Kansas. (Why not NC? Maybe it was Google.) Here's the link if anyone else wants to watch it.

Our favorite was the air shot video. (Second was the slo-mo.)
For school today, we have some company over. Socialization is just so much fun! Actually, it's just one 15yo friend, but it's a fun change of pace. Today they have been doing some woodburning on their homemade bows and swords. Then they went and shot some arrows. I'm amazed at how accurate homemade bows can be!
For math today with Caleb, the 8 yo, I got out the game Presto Chango and we studied subtraction with regrouping using money. It went really well. He understood the concept. I think I'll probably have the same lesson again tomorrow and let him write the problems on the white board while we are working them with the Presto Chango money.
We may get to plant some seeds in our peat pots today. I've used bleach water to clean the holding trays. I should have started the plants two weeks ago, but I just never got around to it. It's so pretty and our deck is warm. I'm wondering if I should just put them on the deck so I don't have to go through the hardening off phase? Hmmm???
