I am new to blogging. I was reading your profile and see you are a definite veteran of homeschooling. I was wondering if you could help me out with something. This is my second year homeschooling. My son is 11 and my daughter 13. My daughter seems to be struggling with language arts. I have tried different curriculum and feel frustrated. I know she doesn't like language arts (the whole noun/adverb etc) but is a strong reader. I was wondering what you use and what you do when you feel like nothing is working. Thanks God Bless Lisa

First, let me say I have been enjoying your blog. I have only been HSing for 2 years, so I was wondering if I could get some advice from someone with more experience. I have a 1rst grader & a 2nd grader and I was wondering if there was some way I could work them together without being too advanced for one, or being on too low of a level for the other. What types of Curriculums do you use, and through the years what have you found to work best, book work or a lot of hands on things?
