I find such joy in the small things, don't you?  Yesterday evening we spent the day around the property picking blackberries.  It was wonderful being out with the little ones with our baskets in hand, gathering something so wonderful that we were free to take from the land! I believe we made a few memories too! Later on this evening I will be making a yummy cobbler from them.  Here was what we came home with.   

Now Today we went shopping at some local bargain shops.  I was very pleased with all the goodies we came home with! The girls found dresses that were just perfect.  The boys found plenty of books for everyone and these were a steal at $.10 a piece! My two favorite finds were this wonderful birdcage, and a vintage shawl for Miss. Madison.  (I have big plans the birdcage!  It will be painted white and then distressed as the perfect accessory in my shabby cottage bedroom! )
