Tomorrow begins a new life for me.

Tomorrow is the day to start doing things together.  Trying to adopt (somewhat) of Tam's Home Rules: working together and playing together.  I will begin 'loose tomato staking' tomorrow.  I will be kind.  I will smile more.  I will discipline promptly.  I will start having them cover their mouth for using it poorly.  I will have them stand by the wall if Grumpie.  I will play and be fun.  I will show them I love them on many levels.  I'm nervous.  Eldest dc is nervous (doesn't like the idea of swift discipline and swats for the serious ones again).  I so want to do a good job.  I want to see how this works.  I'm excited, though.

Should be a real test since tonight has turned out to be so difficult here at the Ranch.  I will be tired and will have to lean completely on the LORD to control my temper.

Lord,

I trust You.  I love You.  I want to follow your leading.  Help me tomorrow.  Help me to smile and speak gently.  Help me to train well.  Help me to let go of my other issues.  I give my mothering to you.

Hang in there, you can do it. I am right in there with you. The results are beautiful. Not only will you have better behaved children, the Lord will be doing a work in you too. The whole family benefits. Keep us posted on your progress.... Let the "pruning" begin.

I have just started this week REALLY trying to "live, play, work, learn" together! It has been actually VERY good!! I have to really THINK about what I am doing and include the boys...but I really really do see a glow in their eyes!! Today has been a little off because I went to a bible study (won't be going back I dont think) and then daddy was home so thing are a little off today and I can tell...I will do better...even today after nap time..but it is a process the the LORD must lead and I must follow, I cannot do it on my own!! Thanks for sharing!!

How did it go? We love Tomato Staking and all the articles at that site. The fruit from TSing is SOO worth it!
