Hello My name is Eric Holden I am 15 and I have found the source of most the the problems with the youth. Now I know I know we like to blame it on other things in the 40's it was comics "they seduced the innocent" in the 60's it was TV. in the 70's it was music today it's music t.v.,music, and video games. However as you can see the these are highly inconsistent and seem to only hide the truth which is it's the parents fault. Now I’m not here to say parents suck and stuff like that but the majority of the problems with our youth is there fault.
You see there was a time when parents taught kids what was right and what was wrong we no longer have that. What we have now is parents teaching there kids to fear the consequences. Parents don't tell there kids what’s right and wrong they simply say if you do this you will be punished. It goes into religion to church doesn’t teach kids what’s right and wrong they teach that god doesn’t like certain things and if you do those things he's going to send you to hell.
Once a child surpasses this fear of consequences they can do whatever they want with no guilt or a bad feeling in there stomach because they have no moral background. Which leads to them doing whatever they want whenever they want because they don't fear grounding, they don't fear prison, they don't even fear death.
I don't have a conclusion for this article only to say this is a major problem that needs to be recognized.
