I saw this in another blog and thought it was a good way to rise up in the Cyber Gates and call him blessed.
Here's my Main Man, the Guy, the Other Half, the Bread Winner, the Big Cheese:
20 Things I Love About Him: 1. he loves me 2. he loves God with heart, soul, mind and strength 3. is kind and gentle to me and the kids 4. is NEVER a cheapskate 5. brings me tea / wine / chai when I'm in the bath 6. gets up at night to go downstairs and get me some pickles 7. takes out the garbage, year after year, without complaining 8. reads the girls the Bible every night he's home 9. has never admitted that I could stand to drop a few pounds 10. lets me pick out the movies 11. doesn't let me boss him around 12. goes to work every day to feed / clothe his family, takes wonderful care of us 13. smells good 14. nice butt 15. has, in the past, let me watch my Phantom of the Opera DVD instead of watching Hockey Night in Canada (but I promise not to do it again, that was very selfish indeed) 16. encourages me to go out with my friends and let him watch the kids 17. is open to God's working in his life -- not stuck in a stubborn rut 18. eats whatever I cook and says it's fantastic (with the conspicuous exception of my Corned Beef Hash in our first year of marriage, poor man, though it was okay with enough HP sauce) 19. his laugh 20. studies God's word faithfully |
