A Little Taste Of Me

A Book Review
I Just finished reading Joshua Harris’ book I Kissed Dating Goodbye. The first of last week, that is. He is so talented! I got so much out of that book, and could probably read it again and get as much or more out of it! I loved how he explained how we aren’t to be idols in our single years. Also to develop a deep relationship with Jesus. Also, how courting is extinct in today’s world. Think about it. Don’t you think it’s a useless waste of time, going out with different guys (or girls), time after time, heartbreak after heartbreak? When He (Jesus) already has your love story planed out? Who you are going to marry and when and where you are going to meet. Down to the finest detail! Joshua also told girls specifically, to set their standards high. He also said in his book (when he was describing courtship): “Friendship – Deep Friendship – Intimacy with integrity – Engagement.” He also said: “ Try to avoid times when you and the girl or guy would be alone together.” Okay. I better stop know before I write down the whole book! But it was a very good book! I would recommend at the youngest, 13 or 14 years old. ~Miss Hannah

Hi there! My name is Hannah, I am 13 years old and am a born again christian as of September 10th, 2006. I am the oldest of 5 children, Me (13), Allison (11), Zoe (8), and the twins, Elias and Josiah are 1 year old. Me and my family live in Kentucky and always have. I have been home schooled for 6 years (K, 3rd, 4th,5th, 6th & 7th). I consider it a blessing to be in a largeish family, and stay home for my schooling as well. It enables me to learn things that I other wise wouldn't have. I also think my 2 years in the public school system gave me some insight on what it is like on the 'other side of the fence'. Jesus is not just a passion, it's a way of life. I surely hope you will join me on my walk with Jesus. Many blessings! Hannah
