Our Menu Plan
I thought I would post our menu plan for this coming week. Some people post their menu plans by doing the Menu Plan Monday meme and some don't. We go grocery shopping usually at the end of the week, so we make our menu plans then. So I don't really get to participate in Menu Plan Monday, but I thought I would post it anyway for those of you who are interested. It also gives meal ideas for your own use.
If you would like a recipe for something that's on here, I would be glad to give it to you! Just email me at misshannah5 AT gmail DOT com and I will email it to you. :)
Just a note: we only make a menu plan for dinner, so that is why you will only see one meal for each day. Just in case you are curious. :)
Friday
fajitas & rice
Saturday
salmon patties, baked potatoes, green beans
Sunday
fried chicken, cauliflower salad, corn on the cob, & cake (note: The cake is in celebration of a birthday. Normally we don't have it. -well, regularly anyway.)
Monday
pot roast, potatoes, carrots, peas, & rolls
Tuesday
grilled chicken salads & rolls
Wednesday
crock pot lasagna & bread sticks
Thursday
breakfast potato skillet & biscuits
Friday
Tacos/Taco Salad
Blessings~

Natural Cleaners for Your Home

Sense I am very sensitive to all most all store bought cleaners, I thought I'd share some of the cleaners I use and the recipes for them. For my reference and yours. Not only do they do the job, they do it with out your house smelling of horrid fumes and without breaking the bank.
All Purpose Cleaner
2 parts water to 1 part vinegar
That's it! Put it in a spray bottle, shake it and your ready to go. If you need a bit more 'power' than that (like on counter tops), wet your rag and put some baking soda on it. Then wipe whatever you are cleaning down.
_________________________________
I use this to clean mirrors, glass, toilet seats, counters (both kitchen and bathroom), and stove tops (I usually add a bit of baking soda). For toilets I use basically the same thing. Only I sprinkle some baking soda in the toilet and then pour a little bit of vinegar on it.
Soft Scrub
Directions
Put the borax in a container with a lid. Add the Murphy's Oil Soap and essential oils (if desired) in and stir until it is the consistency of frosting.
____________________________
I like to use this for the cleaning the tub. Usually, I don't use it on anything else. But, on an occasion I will use it on our stainless steel {kitchen} sink when it is REALLY dirty.
Also, I like to clean with a micro-fiber rag. We got ours at Walmart and use them for EVERYTHING. I seriously think they are one of the best things invented.
Have a blessed weekend y'all!

Beautiful Ladies and Yummy Food
Here's what I have for you today: pictures, food, and some links. Sound good? I have been in a creative sorta mood so I asked around for some pictures of ladies cooking. For me, cooking is a way I express myself. So that's why I asked for the type of pictures I did.
Here is the ever helpful Amanda Dixon cooking their family's Thanksgiving dinner.
She not only runs her blog, but also writes for Growing in Grace magazine, runs Super Secret Angels, It's A Learning Experience, and also contributes to Feelin' Feminine, and The Homeschool Post. You can also find her on twitter.
And here is always-smiling Tessa!
Tessa currently blogs at The Milkshake and runs her shop. You can also find her on any given day on twitter. She is also a creative nut such as moi. Gotta love a smiling face!
You can also visit Amanda's sisters at A City On A Hill, A Pondering Heart, and Resting In the Arms of Grace. Their family also runs Gleaning The Harvest which helps support widows and and the fatherless.
Tessa also sent me this recipe to share with you all.
Oreo balls
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese (softened)
1 regular size package Oreo cookies
1 bar of chocolate
------
Crush oreo cookies and mix them in a bowl with the cream cheese. Take the mixture and roll into balls and freeze until hard. Melt the chocolate and dip the hardened balls into it. Refreeze and enjoy!
*store these in the fridge*
Those sound incredibly good! Thank you for sharing Tessa!
Now for the links:
Growing in Grace magazine - This is a lovely magazine for ladies young and old alike. Very encouraging and inspiring.
The Weekly - This is what Miss Jocelyn has to say about it "The Weekly is a newsletter of news and information that will inform and welcome you into the new week. In the Weekly you will find announcements, carnivals, giveaways, Spiritual inspiration, featured bloggers, book reviews, quotes, and much more! Please enjoy and consider contributing sometime!". It is very helpful and is published every Monday morning.
I believe that's it. Thanks for stopping by!
Shalom!

About Me
My name is Hannah, but I am also known as Missy Lou. I am a 13yo homeschool high school student. I love the Lord with all my heart and hope you will see Him in me. I am the oldest of 5 kids and love my family very much!
However, I am not a perfect person. Jesus Christ is my role model and I strive to please Him only. I truly hope you are blessed by your visit here. It is my prayer that this blog glorifies the Lord in every way.
I enjoy sewing, crocheting, cooking, baking, and looking after my 2yo brothers. They have made such a difference in my life! They are constantly teaching me many things! My sisters and Mama are my best friends. Although I didn't always think mamas and sisters were to be best friends.
