News & Upcoming Posts
First of all I want to say what a blessing it is to be Featured Blogger over at the Backyard! This is a first for me and it humbled me to read what she had to say about my blog.
Second of all, I want to add that I will be guest blogging over at Wisdom Begun. So make sure to go over there and look for me. I’d love to hear what you think about it once it is up! Thanks Kelly for giving me the opportunity! I think my readers will enjoy the topic too. :-)
Thirdly, I want to add that I want to give my readers a chance to have some input on some upcoming topics. Please see the list of upcoming topics and if you have any links, pictures, blogs, or posts related to the topic, would you mind emailing them to me? I’d sure love it if you did! Now on to the list of topics:
• Hair - We will be talking about different ways to do hair, what products are best for certain hair types, cutting hair at home, handmade accessories for your hair, and more!
• Summer Treats – Popsicles, ice cream, homemade treats and more. We will be talking about them all.
• Photography – I might even have a guest poster for you! ;)
• Skirts – How to find them, where to find them, how to make them, and what’s practical for what you do.
• Aprons – How you can make them, styles, their history, and their purpose.
If you have any more topic suggestions I would love to hear them! You can either leave a comment telling me or via email. :-) Either way is fine.

Behind The Name
I really was hesitant to change my blog name, but I felt like I needed to. I wanted something my own, unique, and taken from a Bible verse. "Everyday Musings" just wasn't cutting it. It was none of the three things above: unique, my own, and taken from a Bible verse. If you google search "Everyday Musings" you come up with a million different blogs that have that title. So here it is, almost my third blogoversary and I have had more names for my blog than I can count. But this one's gonna stay, I do believe.
I came up with the name "Reflections Of A Face" a couple mornings ago when I was reading in Proverbs in my Bible.
"As water reflects a face, so a man's heart reflects the man."
Proverbs 27:19
So anyway, there's the story behind the new name. And now I leave you with this:

New Addition: It's A Learning Experience Meme
Please welcome the newest addition to Everyday Musings! A meme! I love memes! They are so much fun! And that's exactly why I made this one. I also made it because sometimes, (as my readers with a blog will know) it's sometimes hard to scratch something up to post. And that's when you get yourself some Bloggers' Block. But we are always learning something new, so why not post about it? Whether it be a character trait you are trying to learn, a skill, or anything else. So without further ado...

Bloggy News
First of all, go over and check out the Weekly over at A Pondering Heart. Really neat. Every Monday is when Miss Jocelyn publishes it. Here's a little about it (used from the page)- "The Weekly is my personal bulletin board so I can share different links I found worthy of sharing. Here's a really neat blog that all of you mamas may want to check out. (If you haven't all ready) I spent forever reading it! And she has some pictures of her adorable kiddos! They are just precious!

About Me
My name is Hannah, but I am also known as Missy Lou. I am a 13yo homeschool high school student. I love the Lord with all my heart and hope you will see Him in me. I am the oldest of 5 kids and love my family very much!
However, I am not a perfect person. Jesus Christ is my role model and I strive to please Him only. I truly hope you are blessed by your visit here. It is my prayer that this blog glorifies the Lord in every way.
I enjoy sewing, crocheting, cooking, baking, and looking after my 2yo brothers. They have made such a difference in my life! They are constantly teaching me many things! My sisters and Mama are my best friends. Although I didn't always think mamas and sisters were to be best friends.
