ChicBuds Review and Giveaway

Categorized in Contests and Giveaways
I have had good and bad experiences with ear buds. Some hurt, some don’t have very good sound quality, some fall out of my ears, and some are just down right ugly. Ugliness is one of the least of my worries, but the others matter to me.

I use ear buds more for school because it’s a lot of computer work. (BJU DVDS) They are about an hour long each, so it is important that I have good ear buds to listen to them with. It’s really annoying to keep putting ear buds back in your ears because they are falling out.

I wasn’t really sure how the ChicBuds would work, since most all of the ear buds I have tried have at least one of the problems I mentioned. But guess what? When I got those little gems in the mail and tried them for myself they were awesome! ‘

Chicbuds aren’t like any other ear bud. They are comfy, they have good sound quality, fit right, and PLUS, they are beautiful. Who could ask for a more perfect ear bud? No one, I tell you!  They have this rubbery sort of stuff on the ear bud that gives it a snug and comfortable fit.

I’m not just saying that, either.  This is the truth. :D

But you know what? That’s not all that Chic Buds have! They also have this cool little retractable cord that eliminates tangled ear buds. And everyone knows that tangled ear buds are so not cool , right?

Wanna know a secret? Shhhh…. Come a little closer. Okay. Good. I have one pair of White/Watermelon ChicBuds for one of you lucky ducks! How cool is THAT? Very cool.

To enter you must 1) go to chicbuds.com and take a look around and 2) come back here and tell me what you favorite product is and why.

Tropical Traditions Review

Categorized in Reviews
I’m coconut oil crazy. I love that stuff! There. I said it. But come on! Who doesn’t? The smell alone could win anyone over. Plus there are a bazillion things you can do with the stuff. You can cook with it, bake with it, and use it for skin care, to name a few.
You can also get different kinds- expeller-pressed (that’s the fancy name for no coconut sent or flavor- best for cooking.) and regular ol’ coconut oil. Those are the two main kinds.

We get our coconut oil from Tropical Traditions and they not only have coconut oil, but….

Skin care products
Organic food
Supplements
Household goods
Books
Healthy oils
Pet products
Heath appliances

They have a boat load of stuff on their site!

My favorite way to use coconut oil is for conditioner on my hair and on my face. My hair is wavy and sort of frizzy and doesn’t do well with any store bought conditioners. Be careful if you try this though, because if you use too much it makes your hair greasy. I like to put mine in a jar and use about the size of a nickel. It is also the only stuff I have had work to clear up my face. It works WONDERFULLY!

So if you are interested in looking into coconut oil or any other natural/organic products go and take a look at their site!

(graphic credit to Mrs. Mandy at MandyMom.com)

So Mrs. Mandy from over at MandyMom.com and I are sort of doing this little challenge together….  Care to join us? I can’t wait to see what the Lord does through this! I will be guest posting a few times over at her blog, too. I truly cannot wait to see what God convicts me of. Can. Not. Wait. I have a feeling this will be life changing for me.

About Me
My name is Hannah, but I am also known as Missy Lou. I am a 13yo homeschool high school student. I love the Lord with all my heart and hope you will see Him in me. I am the oldest of 5 kids and love my family very much!
However, I am not a perfect person. Jesus Christ is my role model and I strive to please Him only. I truly hope you are blessed by your visit here. It is my prayer that this blog glorifies the Lord in every way.
I enjoy sewing, crocheting, cooking, baking, and looking after my 2yo brothers. They have made such a difference in my life! They are constantly teaching me many things! My sisters and Mama are my best friends. Although I didn't always think mamas and sisters were to be best friends.
