The Washington Homeschool Organization invites you to join them for their next WHO Capitol Connections Day, an opportunity for homeschool families to tour the capitol buildings in Olympia and learn about the legislative system together. If you're travel and out, you might be able to take this event in and share it with your family.

This event will be held on Tuesday, March 17th.  They will meet at 10:30 a.m. in the Legislative Building under the dome near the Washington Seal.  They will have a brief time of introductions, outline some options for the day, and then embark on an informal tour together to see the capitol buildings.  More formal and in-depth public tours will also be available throughout the day.  Each family will have the opportunity to visit their district legislator's offices if they wish.  To do so, please contact your legislator ahead of time to schedule an appointment (see http://apps.leg.wa.gov/DistrictFinder/Default.aspx).  The schedule is designed to be flexible and accommodate individual families' needs and interests.
