Urgent Prayer Request

Posted in Special Posts
Okay, this is urgent and it's very serious (which makes me wonder why I didn't post about it sooner)! One of my family’s good friends, by the name of Eric Davis, who is in our church community was taken to the hospital a week ago because of an episode of not being able to breathe. So far he has had a few of these attacks, and has had to be put unconscious. It’s not asthma, so his family doesn’t know what the problem is yet. Please pray that he will recover quickly so that his family will be able to stop worrying about this. You can get more info at his family’s blog here: http://www.lazydranch8.blogspot.com/. Thanks!

Postscript: oh my, I almost forgot: my mom and dad have been nominated for the 2007 Homeschool Blog Awards. Vote for them and give them your support as they push for victory!

My Blog's Christmas Makeover

Posted in Special Posts

The title of this post about says it all...my blog is having a makeover for one month. Which actually seems kind of dumb and pointless since I'm just going to change it back in a month anyway... arrgh.

Anyway, I've got new music, new template, new avatar, everything. And I have a few posts coming up that are Christmas-based as well. So get ready, because I'm going to Christmas you out. You will feel so sick of Christmas that you will, um, well...that usually happens anyway, doesn't it? Shoot. Well, just get ready as I get ready for Christmas...um, yah...I think...

Sincerely,

HRTF

HRTF's Blogger of the Month

Posted in Special Posts

If you haven't already noticed, there is a section on my sidebar called "HRTF's Blogger of the Month". This section contains a link to someone else's blog. I have put this on my sidebar so that the readers of my blog can go immediately to the blog of the person who I personally congradulate as having a particularly neat blog. Please click the link each month and check out their blog and see if you agree with me on whether or not the person has a cool blog.

September 11th

Posted in Special Posts

Today is the sixth anniversary of the worst tragedy that our country has suffered in the last decade (besides rising gas prices). As such, I have put a link to the entry in Wikipedia for September 11th.

Moms, DO NOT READ!!!

Posted in Special Posts

Okay, this post is not for moms' eyes.

Mother's Day is coming up. In fact, in Mexico, they are celebrating it today (May 10th). In my household, it is tradition that everyone (except my mom) work together to write my mom a song. Typically, a verse would go something like this:

We all love mom,

In each and every way.

We're gonna make her feel special

On this, her Mother's Day!

But this year, I plan to do something different.

I don't think that any of us know how much our moms have helped us. Since before we were born, they have cared for us and helped grow, physically and spiritually. You probably can't remember everything that she's done for you because most of us can't remember past about three years of age.

This month, we have the chance to give them a little of that love back. Think of everything that you can possibly squeeze into this Sunday that would bless her and make her feel special. I'm not going to give you any suggestions because what you do depends on your mom and your lifestyle. But think of something really good. I mean, really good. If you can make your mom feel blessed on Sunday, then you've acheived your goal. Do it With All Your Might and you will achieve.

Until we meet again,

HRTF

Welcome!

Posted in Special Posts

Welcome to With All Your Might, a blog that shows you ways to fill the extra time in your day up with body, mind, and spiritual building projects and things to do. I hope this blog will help you to never have to ever say the following phrase again:

"I'm bored. There's nothing to do."

As you read on, you will find many links to websites that will help you in your quest for boredom-breakers. I hope these will help you as well as the posts in which I have given ideas for space-fillers that I have come up with.

I will also use this blog to show other people some of things that have happened in my life lately that have made an impression in it (that is, my life). I hope that these things make you think, too.

I have also made another blog called arizonafletchonline, which if you visit it, will explain its purpose. I hope that you will enjoy its contents as much as I have writing them!

Until we meet again,

HRTF
