Well I have absolutely LOVED reading all of your entries. They really are funny, inspirational, full of great ideas, and encouraging. It was SO hard to choose.
In fact I decided to go with one inspirational and one funny.
Our inspirational winner is going to be blessed with a set of all four of Shade Tree Cottage Handcrafted Shampoo Bars in Summer Splash scents of Refreshing Grapefruit, Sunny Citrus, Summer Breeze (with organic Jasmine), and Calendula (with loads of organic Calendula absolute oil) with a very nice two piece soap dish- wrapped in a jute and spun hemp ribbon and dried flower sprig from Shade Tree Cottage. Wow I was drooling looking at the soaps there!
Congratulations ChathamMommy- our inspirational winner! I absolutely loved her Clinging to God entry. She made it so easy to see my relationship to God in all of those different childhood stages. If you haven't read it, you'll be blessed.
My next choice would have been NSREMom's The Day the Gameboy Got Smashed with a Sledgehammer! It was a great example of godly parenting, which isn't easy, but gets to the heart.
Our winner in the humor category will win a set of three soaps (your choice) and a wavy grain soap deck- wrapped in a lovely spun hemp ribbon and adorned with some of Carla's very own dried flowers from Shade Tree Cottage. And our winner might especially appreciate some good bars of soap after her experience. 
Not1Worry is the winner for funny entry with her Holes entry. Sometimes you just have to laugh or cry and she decided to laugh when they had septic tank problems and you will too. I was truly laughing out loud and had to read that one to my DH.
Runner up for humor would have to be Sagerats with her Lessons Learned near the Brink of Death. You might have heard me cracking up about that one already though when Sagerats was Blogger of the Week a couple of weeks ago.
In all honesty though, there were so many more that were just fabulous like Taking the Challenge's What I Would Do Differently. It really is a keeper. So just take your time reading through the comments in that contest. You'll be blessed and meet some great new bloggers as well.

I just wanted to say thanks for having the vision to start HSB! I've only been around a little over a month, but it's been like therapy (probably better since it doesn't cost me anything).

Hey, what a totally awesome contest. I'm so thrilled to have my hubby's great parenting moment even mentioned. :) I love finding new cyber friends and this was a cool way of hooking up with new ones.
