If you are like me, you are constantly buying the same food items week after week. So why not make this an easier task by typing up a checklist of the most commonly bought items? By taking a little bit of time NOW, you will save yourself a lot of time each week creating your list. Here's how!
Most of us have a routine when we go to the store .... we start on one side and end up at the other. To make your trip even easier, type up your list by aisle. Go through each aisle noting what is in it and write the main items that you by down. Once you have typed up your list (and saved it for future updating!), print out a month's worth and hang them on the fridge. Now, as you run out of items or realize you need something during the next few weeks, you can just check off what needs to be purchased! I also notate a capital "C" next to items that I have a coupon for so that I do not forget to redeem them at checkout.
It is also handy to type up a separate list of those items that you may only purchase monthly - personal hygiene, pet products, cleaning supplies, etc. Check those items off as you run out of them.
There are several checklists available online to get you started, too.

http://www.elizabethhagen.com/_freeforms/grocery.pdf - I like this one b/c it has spaces to plan your weekly menus. However I would like to see the list of items already typed in so that you can just check them off.
Hope this gets you started thinking about another way you can save a little time around your home!
