Whaddayathink?
Let
your children have fun practicing estimation by playing Whaddayathink? (OK, so I made the name up!)
Items needed:
*Containers
of various sizes; small pail, juice can, Dixie cup, baby
food jar
*Items
of various sizes; lima beans, popcorn, Fruit Loops, large marshmallows, small
marshmallows, etc.
*Pencil
& paper to tally points
Children
put the items in a container (either fill it all the way or only partially) then
guess how many items it contains. The person making the closest guess gets one
point. Continue until a player reaches 25 points. (Or 10 or 20)
