An HSB Baby Shower Contest!
I just love babies! It has been so fun to read about fellow bloggers who share their thrill of expecting and then later the arrival of their bundle of joy.
Awhile back Nancy Carter set up a calendar for expecting mothers to leave their due dates. The calendar helps each of us to keep track of when an HSB baby is due as well as a way to share the good news. I may not have you listed as a friend on my blog, (yet!) but I would still like to share in your happiness.
So, here is how the contest will work:
~ For each mother that is expecting, put your user name on the calendar at your due date. (Scroll down to the bottom of the calendar for the Add/Edit event button.)
~ Leave a comment here saying that you left your due date and where. (This may seem redundant but I want to be sure to include everyone and I might miss it on the calendar.)
~ After one month, (July 19, 2006) a winner will be chosen from those that have entered.
~ There may be another contest in three to four months if this one is successful!
There is, of course, a prize for the winner. Anyone can help with this “baby shower gift”. If you have a gift that you would like to include please send an e-mail to sagerats and I will add it to the list below.
Here is what we have so far:
Eyebright – is making a beautiful crocheted hooded baby cape.
Kristal – is giving a wonderful Creative Memories baby scrapbooking product.
MiraclesHappen – is giving a fantastic Discovery Toys baby toy.
Jaminacema – is giving a fabulous Usborne book for babies.
Rona's Bath and Body Store – is giving a spectacular gift set of a Country Bunny Bath and Body, Baby Hare/Bunny Wash and Country Bunny Bath and Body Silk Lotion.
Maribel Hernandez – is offering a super first aid skin salve for babies.
All gifts will be placed in one big package and sent to the winner. If enough gifts are received then there may be two winners!

We are expecting baby #6 (boy #5!) on August 30th. What a fun contest!

I left my due date on the calendar awhile back, but I didn't know that I had to leave a comment here...
