"The Coalition for Quality Children's Media is a national, not-for-profit organization founded in 1991. Because we believe that media profoundly affect children, our mission is to 1) teach children critical viewing skills and 2) to increase the visibility and availability of quality children's programs.

Our goals are: A. To teach children to become critical media users; B. To help adults recognize the importance of teaching critical viewing skills to children; C. To help children identify and be aware of examples of outstanding media programming; D. To develop programs for children with special needs such as low-income or at-risk children.

The Coalition is a voluntary collaboration comprising more than 10,000 media professionals, lobbyists, policymakers, child advocates, educators, parents and families nationwide."

Families of Korea - Documentary that takes the viewer through a typical day in the lives of two families in Korea. From breakfast to bedtime, see their way of life: family interactions, foods and celebrations. Visits their countryside, cities, communities, schools and homes.

Families of Vietnam -

Two Viet Namese families, one near Ho Chi Mihn City and one in the countryside near Mekong River, bring the viewer into their homes and daily lives. Youngsters from each family narrate the film, explaining the various customs and habits of their cultures.
