Learning With Songs

My kids love to learn things through music.   Quite honestly  most of the time I just make up some hokey song to teach them things  like our phone number or address.  I'll pick a tune they know and then  change the words to teach the lesson.   But, there are some  incredible  CD's out there that  teach through music.  For phonics  we  use Sing, Spell, Read and Write.  For learning multipication we use Skip Counting CD's.  We have used History Songs, Geography Songs, Wee Sing Songs for learning Patriotic Songs and facts about Dinosaurs. We have memorized the Books of the Bible and Bible Verses.  We love Lyrical Life Science and if those are not enough suggestions...Check out this site!  I had no idea so many concepts had been set to music!  The really cool thing about this site is that the lyrics are posted for the songs.  So, if your like me and don't mind singing and sounding hokey, this is the site for you!
