Here is a fun way to learn your States and Capitals. I picked up this beach ball for .99 cents at the .99 Cent Store. Then I printed out a list of all 50 States with their Capitals. I used a Sharpie Marker to write all 50 State and their Capitals on the ball, spreading them out evenly. To play start by tossing the ball back and forth and saying whatever State and Capital lands under your left hand. Once you feel we are getting to know them start quizzing each other by tossing it back and forth and saying only the State your left hand lands on. Then the other person will have to say the Capital.
There are quite a few things that can be taught using this method. If you prefer to buy the balls already made check out the Clever Catch website
Sounds like a ball to me!
