How well did you do in public school? Were you the kid that barely passed? Maybe you did well enough, but the classes you took were choir, home-ec and shop?
The Old Schoolhouse Magazine is looking for testimonials from parents who didn’t do well in school when they were kids, and as a result thought there was no way they were qualified for teaching their own children.
If this is you, and you finally took the plunge into homeschooling and found that being your child's teacher was second nature, then we would like to hear your story. Be sure to tell us some of the pitfalls you fell into and some of the resources you used to help you overcome some of those pitfalls.
