Instead of writing all of our lessons into an assignment book, we use 3x5 cards that get re-cycled through the weeks. Each card has a subject at the top and the days of the week written across the bottom. Each child has a different color ink. In pencil, I draw a circle under the days that the subject it scheduled. The child places the card into daily pockets on the wall when that days work is finished. (If typing is scheduled for Mon, Wed, and Fri... When Monday's typing is complete the card will then be placed in Wednesday's pocket.) There is a total of about 10 cards per child. On some of the cards, I wrote how much time to spend like 20 minutes on the Piano card.
At the beginning of our school day, the children pull that day's cards. The children decide the order of their subject. When their cards are all filed, they are finished.

(For those who want a Lesson Planning System that is printable, I should have one done by this weekend. You will be able to print weekly and/or daily schedules and family activities are applied to each child without re-typing. More info will be available soon.)
