Ok, last week, I did the creative thing. This week, Im going to fall back to my old ways and discuss techie matters.
I thought Id list some of my favorite websites. Im going to emphasize electives. These are all great websites that you can send your child to when you just cant come up with an idea on your own.
General Homeschooling:
A Home for Homeschoolers: This is a great site with a very diverse group of homeschoolers.
Christian Homeschool Fellowship: Another reliable source of information.
Art
Art Sparkers: This website has great art project ideas.
The National Gallery of Art for Kids: Great games and activities. They also have some downloadable school materials.
Language Arts
Picture prompts: This website can get the creative juices flowing.
Word Central: This is Merriam Webster for Kids. Lots of great activities.
Science
Online Frog Dissection: If you prefer not to do your frog dissections live and in person!
Science Experiments: Misc.
Brain Boosters: This site is put out by Discover Kids.
Field Trip Factory: For use when you cant travel.
Thats it for now. Donna will return next week. Thank you for your patience with me.
