Below is a toolbox of mental skills. I already explained here mental alterations from the Trivium. The skills intersect with the Trivium because they are organized, hierarchal, and show orderly pattern. You see orderly patterns in nature all the time. Sea shell are progressively spiral in shape. Sand dollar has five sets of pores arranged in a petal pattern. Snowflakes have a pattern of faceted surfaces. Using the Trivium has a pattern too. Here are a few “mental” ones.

Hierarchies are classifications that allow you to know what is first, middle and last.
