This is a fun trick for making spelling review a bit more fun. It takes a bit of preparation from Mom, but not too much. Simply take a list of ten spelling words and type them out in a column or row. The trick is to spell one word incorrectly in each column/row. Spell a different word incorrectly in each list.
Give your student the paper and have them "spy" and circle the misspelled word in each column/row. Very simple, but a nice change from simply writing or verbally quizzing spelling words.
