As the school year begins, homeschool
coordinators receive a myriad of phone calls asking about
homeschooling. Homeschool
Nations – Ohio
has a post by Kim Wolf that shows the trend of homeschooling. Kim
also discusses the phone calls and conversations that encourage her,
those parents that she can tell will homeschool for the long haul.
The beginning of the school year brings
more than just phone calls from homeschoolers. State regulations
need to be met. Some times the state asks for more than it can by
law. Those
of you in Ohio who homeschool in 08 school need to contact HSLDA.
The Aulwood Audubon Center and Farm
offers homeschool activities including a Homeschool Open House on
Sept. 14th, and Homeschool Autumn Natural History Field
Trip on Oct. 10th. Aulwood is also looking for anyone who
is willing to help improve the homeschool programs. You can read all
the details about the activities and the Aulwood Homeschool Advisory
Board, HERE!
If any Ohio homeschoolers are interested
in taking a closer look at Abeka curriculum materials, then you’ll
want to know about these
dates when Abeka will have displays.

happening in your state? Check out the

blog. A
list of states is in the right hand side bar. States that have
** after them are looking for more coordinators.
