As most of you know from my recent moving experience and grandson's illness
- I've been quite busy and something had to give. Unfortunately it was
marketing my business. But I didn't give up. I took the time needed to get
things in order and help take care of my grandson. And look! I'm still here!
I'm still in business.
Okay, so I'm a little behind in my work and that has hampered sales. That's
when I had to decide to keep on keeping on and tell myself I'd be back in
the office to make it up. Those who know my company, The Busy Woman, Inc.
have stuck by us knowing we have the best products on the market and that we
truly care about people. Those who didn't know us before, now probably know
us a little more than they wanted to since I had to let them know why I
wasn't in the office for three days here and a day there.
Non the less, I have new customers and they almost all feel like family. Do
your customers feel like family? Will they stick by your company when you go
through a crisis?
We never want this to happen. No one purposely asks for less business or
things to take you away from business (unless of course it's a planned trip
to Maui). This is life and like I tell my kids, deal with it the best you
can and move on. Or in this case, keep on keeping on.
How - you ask?
You call those you can call for help.
Stock up on quick meals for your office and home.
Take that extra five minutes in bed.
Take daily vitamins.
Take a break during the day to eat! I think most of us forgo the food but
it's imperative that you eat.
Hey, this sounds like good advice for every day! So plan today for your
business and body to be healthy tomorrow.
