There's so much you could be doing. But I know... time is scarce! I have the same complaint. Planning my days, keeping a list, and scheduling help, has kept me going and doing well. So let's talk about what you can do to take the focus off what can't be done due to the fact that you can't clone yourself.

• Participate in online parties.
• Host offline parties.
• Involve family & friends. (Make sure there’s plenty of pizza.)
• Schedule FREE TIME/ME TIME. It’s important to stay healthy.
• Write articles and send them out to your customers as well as publish them online and submit to local magazines.
• Make a list of your best customers and call as many as you can before the holidays. Give just these people on this list a special savings because after all, they ARE your best customers.
• Do a “little” bartering for holiday gifts or food.
• Keep your business cards and brochures with you at all times to hand out when the chance arises.
• Smile as you go. People love a cheerful person.
• Make a list of people who haven’t ordered from you for a while or are good prospects. Figure out something special to entice them to purchase.
• Network, network, network: If you start now, you still have time.
• Put ads into small business newsletters and ezines online. Small business owners often have reasonable rates.
• Offer inexpensive prizes for contests.
• Get a business buddy for support. I’ve had one for years.
• Host your own business open house.
