Not every Carnival host has a topic. Many have a theme, but they aren't too worried if your entry isn't relevant to the pictures they put up. If they do have a topic you can find that out by going to the CoH calendar and then clicking over to the host's blog and finding the entry about the carnival.
If I know the topic I will share it with HSB!
