Horace Mann Middle School is where it happened. Poor kid. (He's OK, of course, but still, how horrifying. He claims the teacher punched him in the stomach, too)
Parents, keep them home where they belong. You don't know these teachers any more than you know the guy down the street. Why turn your kids over to a stranger for hours at a time? No thanks; I'm keeping mine home. I'll train them up biblically. I can't imagine a teacher or anyone else raising his hand against my child...but I don't have to worry about that. They're staying home with Paul and me. And the delightful part about that is that our kids are highly unique. They don't walk lockstep with the other teens. We're raising them up to be leaders, and they know that. They take very seriously their roles in society and the church....to be salt and light, soon. To articulate God's word logically, clearly. Kindness, compassion, conviction. How much more useful are these traits than the ones they'd be getting in the public schools: political correctness, the new math, and homosexual assembly hours. Keep them home.

Why, oh Why do most parents have their kids in this institutions? It just astounds me. I try to be sensitive to my friends who kids are in public school. But I read stuff like this and I just think, "It is just a matter of time before something like this or worse happens to their children." I just don't get why people follow the wrong way and keep on going that way when it produces nothing good.
