When Lorrie Gnos died, I was shocked to find out that she lived in the same state I did. I was able to go to her memorial service and met yet another fellow blogger from my state. Here I thought I was pretty much the only one in my area.
Many of us are concerned about keeping our families safe, so we don't share on our blogs where we live. This is important, but I am no wondering who else is here at HSB that lives near me! I've worn my HomeschoolBlogger.com T-shirt to a couple of different homeschool functions and written an article about blogging for a local homeschool newsletter. Not one single person has said, "Hey! I blog at HSB too!"
So if you are looking for other bloggers from your state, then add your Homeschool Nations state blog to your friend list, and let your state blog know you'd like to be on their friends list. You don't have to say where in the state you live, it will just help to connect to other bloggers from your state.
Reach out and shake your neighbors blog.
