Diana Waring of Diana Waring Presents History & Family
Most of us have heard of Diana Waring and her history curriculum, History Alive! What you may not know is that Diana blogs here at HSB, and she shares not only about her history products, but the process she goes through to create them. Diana also writes about her family, taking her business to a more personal level.
I always like to read the first blog entry when I write Featured Blogger. Dianas is entitled, A place to call my own
I think thats how we all feel.
One entry that leapt out at me was When a son goes to war
. It made me cry.
When I think of someone I admire but have never met, I dont often think of the little ways they spend their day. Reading Dianas blog though I realized that not only is she a mother who worries about her son in Iraq, she is also a sister in Christ who must remind herself that Gods timing is not her own. All of this while still trying to run a business. Dianas update describes a real person, like me, not an untouchable homeschool super-star.
Just where and who with do you share your homeschooling experiences? Would you, could you in a hair salon? Diana explains to one mom how she already has the tools she needs to be a successful homeschool parent.
I wouldnt be a good senior editor if I didnt help Diana spread the news of her Christmas Specials, as well as let you in on a super deal!
